Qantas Business Rewards members will earn an additional 3x points for their business whilst Points Club and Points Club Plus members receive an extra 25% and 50% points, respectively.
As usual, Airbnbs, Qantas Tours and Fly and Stay packages are all excluded. The Qantas points will be credited to your account within eight weeks of you checking out of your hotel.
Whilst this is less than the 9x points offers we’re used to, it’s still decent – especially if you also qualify for the additional QBR or Points Club points.
However, you should definitely compare prices before booking anything as Qantas Hotels will sometimes cost you noticeably more than booking through another site.
Also, many of those other hotel websites often run promotions where you can earn 10% or more cashback if you click through ShopBack or TopCashback which may work out to be even better value than this 7x points offer.

If you are a Qantas Frequent Flyer and earn Qantas Points from the booking, the amount of Qantas Points you earn will be based on the actual price you pay, not the rounded up price. Qantas Business Rewards members will earn 10 Qantas Points per A$1 spent on all hotels booked through their Qantas Business Rewards Account made up of 7 Qantas Points for the Frequent Flyer and 3 Qantas Points for the business. Bookings made for Accor hotel offers during the campaign period will earn 7 Qantas Points per A$1 value instead of the standard 4 Qantas Points. Points Club members will earn 25% more Qantas Points, and Points Club Plus members will earn 50% more Qantas Points.
