1,000 Qantas points when you open an AMP Bank GO account and make ten eligible purchases

Earn 1,000 bonus Qantas points when you open a new AMP Bank GO account by 30 Nov 2025, link your Qantas Frequent Flyer account and then complete ten eligible transactions by 31 Dec 2025.

Each transaction must be made using your AMP Bank GO debit Mastercard and there is a $5 minimum per transaction to qualify. The bonus points will be credited to your account by 31 Jan 2026.

The terms and conditions mention an additional 1,000 points bonus for selected Qantas Frequent Flyer members who receive an email. This appears to be for those who have previously held a Bankwest Qantas Transaction Account (now discontinued).

The AMP Bank GO account also offers you the ability to earn 1x Qantas point for every $10 of your average monthly account balance. However, this works out to be a very poor return when compared to the many high interest savings accounts on the market.

Given that, there’s no reason to use your AMP Bank GO account after you’ve received the bonus points. That is, of course, unless they substantially increase the points earn rate or run a bonus offer of some variety.

Terms and conditions

1,000 bonus Qantas Points Terms and conditions effective Saturday 1 November, 2025.

1. The promoter is AMP Bank Limited ABN 15 081 596 009 (AMP Bank), AFSL and Australian credit licence 234517.

2. You can earn Qantas Points through the AMP Bank GO and Qantas Frequent Flyer Programs by: 

• Being a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer (QFF) Program; and
• Linking your QFF Account by entering your membership number via  AMP Bank GO.      

Membership of the QFF Program is subject to the QFF Terms and Conditions.

3. Customers who complete the following actions will earn 1,000 bonus Qantas Points (Promotion)

• Open a new AMP Bank Go personal Everyday Account  between 1 November 2025 and 30 November 2025; and
• Link their QFF Account via AMP Bank GO prior to 30 November 2025; and
• Make 10 transactions, with a minimum value of $5 each using their AMP Bank GO debit Mastercard (including Apple Pay / Google Pay transactions) by 31 December 2025

4. The Promotion is available to:

a) New AMP Bank GO personal Everyday Account customers only. AMP Bank GO joint Everyday Account customers are not eligible. 

b) QFF Members who have not earned Qantas Points against their QFF Membership number from AMP Bank GO in the past 12 months; and 

c) QFF Members who have not previously earned Qantas Points in relation to this Promotion.

5. 1,000 bonus Qantas Points will be credited to the AMP Bank GO customer’s linked Qantas Frequent Flyer membership account by 31 January 2026 and will appear on the member’s Points Activity Statement as ‘AMP Bank GO Bonus’. 

6. Customers who have received an email from Qantas Frequent Flyer and have previously held a Qantas Transaction Account in the last 60 months may be eligible to earn an additional 1,000 bonus Qantas Points. The additional 1,000 bonus Qantas Points will be credited to the AMP Bank GO customer’s linked Qantas Frequent Flyer account in a further 6 to 8 weeks and appear on the nominated member’s Points Activity Statement as ‘AMP Bank Go Bonus Exclusive Additional Points Offer’.

8. AMP Bank reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Promotion at any time, for any reason, including if any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, due to computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of AMP Bank.
