Link your Qantas Frequent Flyer account to your Hoyts account and you will earn 100 Qantas points if you are a standard member and 500 points if you are a Hoyts VIP member.
Hoyts allow allows you to earn ongoing Qantas points on your cinema spend but it’s only a 0.5 points per dollar for standard members and 2 points per dollar for Hoyts VIPs.
If you spend quite a lot at Hoyts, the best way to earn a tonne of Qantas (or other) points is to buy Hoyts or Hoyts-compatible gift cards (e.g. Ultimate Him, TCN Cinema etc) during the frequent 20x points promotions at Woolworths, Coles and Big W.
Terms and conditions
To earn Qantas Points with HOYTS, Qantas Frequent Flyer members must be current members of the HOYTS Rewards Program and have linked their Frequent Flyer and HOYTS Rewards accounts. HOYTS Rewards Members will earn 1 Qantas Points per A$2 spent on eligible purchases up to a maximum of 400 points per transaction (excluding any bonus Qantas Points earnt). HOYTS Rewards VIP members will earn 2 Qantas Points per A$1 spent on eligible purchases up to a maximum of 800 points per transaction (excluding any bonus Qantas Points earnt). Members of the discontinued HOYTS Rewards Premium tier will earn 3 Qantas points per A$1 spent on eligible purchases up to a maximum of 1200 points per transaction until their HOYTS Rewards VIP membership comes up for renewal. HOYTS Rewards Members who are not already linked to QFF can earn 100 bonus Qantas Points for doing so. HOYTS Rewards VIP members not already linked to QFF can earn 500 bonus Qantas Points for doing so. Eligible purchases exclude complimentary tickets, tickets redeemed via HOYTS Points, gift cards, vouchers, HOYTS Rewards annual program membership fees, HOYTS Corporate sales, bookings and events, and any other bulk sales through HOYTS Corporate and Community Sales teams. HOYTS Rewards Membership is free to join. HOYTS Rewards VIP membership costs $15/year (or 3,000 Qantas Points). Qantas Points will be credited to a member’s Qantas Frequent Flyer account up to 28 days after purchase.
