Note that you only receive the prices and points listed above for the first six months. After that, you cease earning any points and the cost increases.
AGL Mobile runs on the Optus network. There are no lock-in contracts for either the mobile or internet plans so you can cancel at any time.
Whilst it’s always a good idea to compare prices across multiple providers, these seem like competitive offers. Even if you do end up paying a bit extra by going with AGL, it could still be justified depending on the amount of points you receive.
For example, another company may offer the NBN 1,000/50 plan for $85/mo but most points collectors would happily pay the extra $14/mo that AGL charge to earn 3,000 Velocity points/mo.
