Any idea if I did I 2024 and cancelled after offer. Will I be eligible again for all bonus points? More than 12 months I closed the account
I’d recommend messaging AGL for an answer so you have proof of your eligibility.
I received 20,000 pts for electricity but only 5,000 for gas
If you signed up for both at the same time then it sounds like they made a mistake. If you contact AGL they should be able to sort it out.
Yep I have been shafted too. I only te ones 5000 for gas. I’ve argued with Velocity and AGL for a long time on phone calls. I have the evidence of tbe sign on date, velocity kept referring me to the website today saying that’s not the deal. It’s like talking to a piece of wood. I had to constantly explain that the promotion they’re looking at is for today, not the February promotion.
Then they wanted evidence of the February promotion haha it’s laughable. I said it’s your business partner how can you not have the evidence of the deal the two of you ran only 4.5 months ago.
AGL have since agreed with me and are investigating it.
It shouldn’t be this hard. If your going to advertise a deal for customers to switch with a business partner, surely you can get that transaction correct.
I will get my points or other will be a complaint to the ACCC and the water and energy ombudsman. It’s a matter of principle and I’ve read a lot of peoples comments on forums being screwed on the same promotion types.
Beware
