Receive up to 50,000 bonus Qantas points on top of the standard 3x points per dollar spent when you book through Qantas Hotels or Qantas Holidays between 15 Jan and 5 Feb 2026.
The amount of bonus Qantas points you receive depends on how much you spend per booking:
- 2,000 points when you spend $500-999
- 5,000 points when you spend $1,000-1,999
- 15,000 points when you spend $2,000-2,999
- 25,000 points when you spend $3,000-4,999
- 50,000 points when you spend $5,000 or more
With the high minimum spend and tiered bonuses, this offer isn’t as compelling as the triple points promotions that Qantas Hotels usually run a handful of times each year.
If you do happen to be spending just over one of the higher thresholds (e.g. $5,000) then this could still work out to be decent value.
However, before booking anything you should compare prices with other sites as Qantas Hotels’ rates are sometimes more expensive than many of their competitors.
It’s also a good idea to check the hotels page on Rewardist as many of those other booking sites regularly offer cashback rates of 10% or more which can be preferable to earning points.
Terms and conditions
You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn and redeem points. Membership and points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program terms and conditions. Qantas Frequent Flyer members will earn up to 50,000 bonus Qantas Points on all hotel stays and holiday packages ($500 minimum cash spend on a single booking) booked through qantas.com/hotels or qantas.com/holidays from 12:01 am (AEDT) 15 January 2026 until 11:59 pm (AEDT) 5 February 2026. Excludes Airbnb and Qantas Tours. Bonus points will only be earned on the first 3 eligible bookings made. Points Plus Pay can be used but the value of the Qantas Points will not contribute to the minimum spend threshold. Vouchers do not contribute to the minimum spend threshold. The full amount of the transaction for bookings made with Deposit Pay will contribute towards the spend threshold. Customers who spend $500 – $999 will receive 2,000 bonus Qantas Points, customers who spend $1,000 – $1,999 will receive 5,000 bonus Qantas Points, customers who spend $2,000 – $2,999 will receive 15,000 bonus Qantas Points, customers who spend $3,000 – $4,999 will receive 25,000 bonus Qantas Points and customers who spend $5,000+ will receive 50,000 bonus Qantas Points. Bonus Qantas Points will be issued to the member who has made the booking and is valid once per transaction. This is in addition to the standard earn rate of 3 points per A$1 spent on the total booking value. Qantas Points will not be earned on any amounts payable directly to the hotel. If your booking is amended in the future, you will not earn the Bonus Points but will earn the points applicable for the booking at the time of amendment. Qantas Points will not be earned on cancelled or refunded bookings. Qantas Points cannot be split between two or more members occupying the same room. To earn Qantas Points, quote your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number when booking. Points will be credited within 8 weeks of hotel check-out.

I have a feeling we will see fewer Qantas Hotels triple points offers this year, with more block-points offers like this or double-points promotions instead.

I clicked the link and can’t see it advertised anywhere on either the Qantas Hotels or Qantas Holidays websites?
It’ll appear on the Qantas Hotels website on Thursday when the offer starts.
Note qantas hotels are unable to book 2 rooms on 1 booking. Therefore you wont qualify for additional points as they only apply the points per booking (per room).
I got stitched by this last year even though their T&C’s and phone operator stated differently.
Be aware that qantas holidays are typically way more expensive than their competitors and don’t play fairly.
Do you still get the full allocation of points if you only pay the 20% deposit at time of purchase but the balance is outside of the promotional period?

Do you know if you have to hit the $5,000 in one transaction? Its not that clear in the T&C’s. I can reach it if able to select a few hotels
It’s per booking so to get the 50,000 points you would have to spend $5,000 in one go.
