Get 1.5 cents per point instead of the usual 1.0 cent when you redeem your Qantas points on holidays, cruises, experiences and hotels on TripADeal.
Whilst 1.5 cents per point may not seem like much when compared to the value of some business and first class Classic Reward redemptions, it’s actually better than what you will get from most economy reward flights.
Even if you aren’t interested in TripADeal’s holiday and cruise packages, this offer is a great way to book hotels using points as you’ll get around double the value per point compared to Qantas Hotels.
For example, booking the same $233 stay at the Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport costs 33,286 points on Qantas Hotels compared to just 15,533 on TripADeal. That’s less than half the amount of points.
In previous years, it would have been easy to dismiss a redemption value of 1.5 cents per point as insignificant but, in light of the recent negative changes to the Qantas Frequent Flyer programme, this has become an offer that’s worthy of consideration by almost all points collectors.

During the Promotional Period, the minimum Qantas Points required for redemption will be reduced from 4,000 to 2,666. Points required will be rounded to the nearest point, in favour of the customer. This offer will automatically be applied at the time of purchase. The standard 3 Qantas Points per $1 spent will continue to be earned on the cash component of Points Plus Pay purchases only, and will be issued to the traveller who made the booking. You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn and use points.
Offer applies across Tours, Cruises, Exclusive and Non-Exclusive Hotel Packages and Experiences available on tripadeal.com.au. Offer excludes changes to existing bookings except upgrades or add-ons added to existing bookings during the promotional period which will qualify for the offer. Offer excludes e-Gift vouchers, and any pay in instalment payments on existing bookings.
For new bookings made during the promotional period using pay in instalments, the offer will apply to any points used during the promotional period only. The offer will not apply to subsequent payments per the payment schedule that fall outside the promotional period. Standard pay in instalment terms and conditions apply.
