Update: There are reports that the per transaction limit is actually 10 gift cards, not 5 as stated in the terms above. The in-store signage for this promotion apparently states 10 as well.
Note that these gift cards all have activation fees so the $20-500 variable load card is the best choice as the $500 you can load on it will earn more than enough points to offset the $7.95 activation fee.
For example, a $500 Eftpos gift card will earn you 5,000 Everyday Rewards points which is equal to either $25 in dollars off your shop or 2,500 Qantas points. That means you will be paying 0.32 cents per Qantas point which is great value as Qantas points are worth between 1.5 and 6 cents if redeemed on flights.
