What makes this promotion unique is that 1,000 bonus points on a $25 gift card works out to be an impressive 41x points per dollar spent. That’s double what we usually see.

How it works
To earn the bonus points, all you have to do is scan your Flybuys card when you purchase any of these specific TCN gift cards in-store at Coles between 22 Jul and 28 Jul 2026.
You can only earn the 1,000 points up to five times per Flybuys account. That’s five in total, not five per day or five of each gift card type.
The bonus points usually appear in your Flybuys account the following day at around 5pm but it’s not uncommon for them to take a few extra days. Sometimes the bonus points credit in batches even if they were all earned at the same time.
The included denominations are:
- TCN Party: $25, $40
- TCN Teen: $50
- TCN Her: $50, $100
- TCN Restaurant: $50, $100
- TCN Eftpos: $100 ($5.95 fee), $200 ($7.95 fee)
Whilst the headline offer is the $25 TCN Party gift card at 41x points per dollar spent, the $40 TCN Party denomination is also above average at 26x points so it might still be worth buying if the $25 card sells out in your area.
The $50 TCN Teen, Her and Restaurant gift cards are also solid at 21x points but avoid the $100 denominations as they’ll only get you a disappointing 11x points per dollar.
The $100 and $200 TCN Eftpos gift cards are definitely not worth buying because they have $5.95-7.95 purchase fees, meaning you’ll lose money on every one you purchase. The other TCN gift cards in this promotion do not have fees.
At JB Hi-Fi you can use unlimited gift cards both in-store and online, although for online shops you must first swap each physical card for a JB Hi-Fi digital gift card via the TCN website.
For other brands, refer to the TCN website as for most partners it lists how many gift cards they accept for online purchases (in-store there’s often no limit).
The TCN Restaurant gift card can be used at basically any restaurant. You can check the Merchant Database on GCDB for a list of places where they’ve been tested and found to work.

You should always convert physical TCN Restaurant gift cards into digital ones here so that you can add them your mobile wallet (e.g. Apple Pay) as they’re more likely to be accepted that way.

$100 tcn eftpos will earn 1106 points=$5.5? I’d say not bad for people want to have eftpos, or have a spending task for credit card.

Where did you 1106 points from?
When it’s a fixed bonus at Coles (e.g. 1,000, 2,000 etc points) you also earn the standard 1x point per dollar spent. This doesn’t apply to multiplier offers (e.g. 10x, 20x points) because with those ones they account for the standard points.
Correct. I’ll be stocking up withthe maximum purchase possible for these cards.
How many tcn party 25 I can buy each day?
Oh, sorry. So it’s 5 cards only. Doesn’t matter if I buy them all in once
Whether you buy the five gift cards individually or all in one transaction makes no difference.
How do you use up the remaining small amount of the gift cards? I found many stores do not allow split payment. Thanks.
And that’s the reason that these gift card promotions get run, all those small amounts and forgotten cards are cumulatively worth a bucket of $$$.
Which gift card? If it’s the TCN Party, Teen or Her gift cards you shouldn’t have any problems, particularly since in many cases those cards can be exchanged for some of the retailer’s own gift cards where they’re obliged to let you pay with another card on top.
For the TCN Restaurant, it’s true that some restaurants and cafes aren’t always too happy to allow split card payments. However, in my experience most will allow it, especially if you make it clear that you’re asking to split the payment and not the bill (staff hate having to work out who in your group ordered what but they often don’t mind letting you pay for the entire thing with two different cards).

How come you are not mentioning the Woolworth 10x visa restaurant cards this week are they not worthed?
I only share good offers here and the current one at Woolworths is very bad.
The Woolworths promotion for the following week is similarly awful.

If my wife buys 5 cards with her flybuys and I buy 5 with my flybuys and we have a joint account will we get 10,000 points?
You would need completely separate Flybuys accounts.
Just found out the hard way that BCF only allow 5x transactions on their POS.
Have you already exchanged the TCN gift cards for BCF’s own gift cards? If not, one workaround could be to use five TCN gift cards to purchase a single BCF gift card.
Some retailers will limits like that will allow you to consolidate your gift cards into one larger one if you contact them. That may also be worth a try.
Tried to consolidate 12 × $100 JB Hi-Fi gift cards that had been converted to JB from TCN Him Gift Cards, but they refused to do it both in-store and over the phone.
That’s understandable because JB Hi-Fi already allow you to use unlimited gift cards both in-store and online.
Still, if you used your gift cards to buy items totalling $1,200 you should be able to refund them for a single gift card (or possibly two gift cards if there’s a $1,000 limit or something).
