This may be your last chance to earn 20x Flybuys points on Apple gift cards until late October as for the last three years there has always been a pause on Apple gift card promotions during the months surrounding new iPhone releases.
If you know you’ll be buying a new iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch or iPad from Apple at some point over the next few months and would prefer to earn Flybuys or Velocity points on your purchase, you might want to stock up on gift cards during this offer.

How it works
Buy Apple gift cards in-store at Coles between 30 Jul and 5 Aug 2025 and scan your Flybuys card at the checkout to earn 20x points per dollar spent, usually credited to your account around 1-3 days after your purchase.
There’s no need to activate anything in your Flybuys app as this promotion is automatically open to all members. They usually only advertise them in the Coles catalogue and via posters at the in-store gift card display.
You can buy up to five gift cards per day so if you bought five $20-500 variable cards each loaded with $500 you’d be able to earn as much as 50,000 Flybuys points per day.
You can pay for Apple devices online using your account balance (loaded with up to $4,999 worth of gift cards) plus another eight unredeemed gift cards. The Apple gift card guide on GCDB has more information about how they work.
As always, it’s worth checking what other retailers (e.g. Amazon, JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks etc) are charging before purchasing as you can call Apple on 133-622 and have them price match others (up to a maximum of 10% off).

Is this available in all states? I went to a store in NSW, they didn’t have this advertised in store and the manager said there was no promotion running
Yes, it’s available in all states and territories. The link under the image in the post will take you directly to the page it’s advertised on in the Coles NSW catalogue. In-store staff often have no idea about these gift card promotions and some stores don’t display the posters for them.
