Coles is currently offering 10,000 bonus Flybuys points when you sign up for Coles Plus as a new customer and remain subscribed for two months. With the first month free, this suggests that you would only be on the hook for a single month ($19) to qualify for the 10,000 points.
For those of you unfamiliar with Coles Plus, it’s a monthly subscription service that gives you such benefits as free delivery on Coles orders over $50, 2x Flybuys points on your shops and free rapid click and collect.
As a user on OzBargain helpfully pointed out, the Coles Plus terms and conditions state that “The cancellation of your Coles Plus subscription will take effect from the end of the relevant Subscription Period”.
So as long as you set your subscription to cancel after you make your first payment, you should technically still have met the criteria for the promotion as the cancellation will not have taken effect until the end of the second month.
If all goes as planned, you will have paid just $19 to earn $50 worth of Flybuys points. That’s in addition to any of the Coles Plus benefits you take advantage of during the two months you remain a member.
