Earn 20,000 bonus Everyday Rewards points when you sign up for an Origin NBN or Opticomm home internet plan. Plus, you’ll also save $20 on your bill each month for the first six months.
20,000 Everyday Rewards points are worth $100 if redeemed at places like Woolworths, Big W and BWS. You could also convert them to 10,000 Qantas points which are potentially worth quite a bit more than $100.
Also included in this offer is a year of free Amazon Prime membership on plans with speeds of at least 100mbps. However, if you cancel your Origin internet before the twelve months are up you will lose access to the Prime membership.
There’s a ten month waiting period if you’ve previously earned Everyday Rewards points on an Origin internet plan. If you’re unsure about your eligibility, get Origin to confirm it over live chat so you have proof.
The terms and conditions state that the bonus points will be credited to you approximately 45 days after signing up but in my experience it’s much closer to 30 days.
Origin’s internet plans are pricier than many of their competitors but it’s worth signing up just for the bonus points and then switching back to a cheaper provider once you’re done. I’ve received 80,000 points over the past few years by doing this.

Origin have a 30 day cancellation notice period for internet. I’m wondering do you cancel after you receive the points and essentially pay for 2 months?
I don’t believe they actually enforce that 30 day requirement. Origin internet is provided by Superloop who do require you to give 30 days notice but I’ve never heard of Origin asking it of their customers and they certainly didn’t with me when I cancelled my service with them last year.
In any case, OzBargain users have had success getting Superloop to waive the notice period by by quoting the ACCC’s guidance on unsupplied products or services:
Still, if you’re worried about it then ask Origin over live chat and save the answer.
I ported away from origin in June 2025. Signed up June 2024. Dos anyone know if the 10month wait applies from when I left (meaning I wouldn’t get points if I moved back now) or from when I signed up initially?
It seems pretty clear that it’s 10 months since you last got Everyday Rewards points from Origin but as FreePoints suggested contacting Origin might be the best bet. If you do please update us as I’m in a similar boat.
“An Everyday Rewards account may be linked to more than one internet account, however you will only be eligible to receive one (1) allocation of Everyday Rewards points in a 10-month period for each address.”
Rang and confirmed I am eligible for points. Also tried to get me to change my gas & electricity but they weren’t able to bet my current rates for those.
Hi!
When it says that the offer is only available if you have not received a one off everyday rewards bonus in the last 10 months, it only refers to origin right? So it doesn’t matter that I received bonus points from bupa?
That’s right.
