Earn up to 50,000 Qantas points in addition to the standard 3x points per dollar on up to three Qantas Hotels or Qantas Holidays bookings:
- 2,000 points whens you spend $500-999
- 5,000 points when you spend $1,000-1,999
- 15,000 points when you spend $2,000-2,999
- 25,000 points when you spend $3,000-4,999
- 50,000 points when you spend $5,000 or more
This is not a particularly compelling promotion when compared to what Qantas Hotels have offered in the past. For example, the bonus they ran earlier this year awarded twice as many points for the lower spend thresholds.
Also, unlike the triple points offers they usually run, the spend brackets here can make it difficult to extract the most value out of your booking. For example, if your purchase comes to $4,950 you’re stuck with 25,000 bonus points even though you’re within a hair’s breadth of the 50,000.
The only way this offer makes sense is if you were already planning to book accommodation worth several thousand dollars this week and are certain that you wouldn’t be better off booking through another site (e.g. Booking.com, Agoda etc) or waiting for a better points offer.
Terms and conditions
You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn and redeem points. Membership and points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program terms and conditions. Qantas Frequent Flyer members will earn up to 50,000 bonus Qantas Points on all Qantas Hotels and Qantas Holidays booked through qantas.com/hotels or qantas.com/holidays from 12:01 am (AEST) 21 July 2025 until 11:59 pm (AEST) 4 August 2025. Excludes Airbnb, Qantas Tours. Bonus points will only be earned on the first 3 eligible bookings made. If your booking is amended in the future, you will not earn the Bonus Points but will earn the points applicable for the booking at the time of amendment. Customers who spend $500 – $999 will receive 2,000 bonus Qantas Points, customers who spend $1,000 – $1,999 will receive 5,000 bonus Qantas Points, customers who spend $2,000 – $2,999 will receive 15,000 bonus Qantas Points, customers who spend $3,000 – $4,999 will receive 25,000 bonus Qantas Points and customers who spend $5,000+ will receive 50,000 bonus Qantas Points. There is a minimum spend threshold of $500 on a single booking to be eligible to earn bonus points. The spend amount is based on cash spent. Points Plus Pay can still be used but the value of the Qantas Points will not contribute to the spend threshold. Vouchers do not contribute to the minimum spend threshold. The full amount of the transaction for bookings made with Deposit Pay will contribute towards the spend threshold. Bonus Qantas Points will be issued to the member who has made the booking and is valid once per transaction. This is in addition to the standard earn rate of 3 points per A$1 spent on the total booking value. Qantas Points will not be earned on any amounts payable directly to the hotel. Points will be credited within 8 weeks of hotel check-out.
