Earn up to 30,000 bonus Qantas points on all Qantas Hotels and Qantas Holidays bookings you make by 31 Mar 2025 with a checkout date before 30 Jun 2025.
The amount of points you earn depends on how much you spend:
- 5,000 points when you spend $500-$999
- 10,000 points when you spend $1,000-1,999
- 20,000 points when you spend $2,000-2,999
- 30,000 points when you spend $3,000 or more
You can earn the bonus points on up to three qualifying bookings and they’ll be credited with eight weeks of hotel checkout. As always, Airbnb and Qantas Tours are excluded.
The minimum spend for each level of bonus points is amount of cash you pay. If, for example, you used a $50 voucher towards a $510 booking it wouldn’t qualify for the 5,000 points.
These sorts of promotions aren’t as good as the triple points offers that Qantas Hotels usually run but if you were already planning to book some accomodation then it’s worth seeing how many points you could earn.
However, before booking any accomodation you should always compare prices across multiple sites as they can vary quite a lot. It can sometimes be worthwhile paying a little bit extra if you’ll earn a lot of points but don’t get carried away.
Terms and conditions
You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn and redeem points. Membership and points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program terms and conditions. Qantas Frequent Flyer members will earn up to 30,000 bonus Qantas Points on all Qantas Hotels and Qantas Holidays booked through qantas.com/hotels and qantas.com/holidays from 12:01 am (AEDT) 19 March 2025 until 11:59 pm (AEDT) 31 March 2025 for stays with a check-out date prior to 30 June 2025. Excludes Airbnb and Qantas Tours. Bonus points will only be earned on the first 3 eligible bookings made. If your booking is amended in the future, you will not earn the Bonus Points but will earn the points applicable for the booking at the time of amendment. Customers who spend $500 – $999 will receive 5,000 bonus Qantas Points, customers who spend $1,000 – $1,999 will receive 10,000 bonus Qantas Points, customers who spend $2,000 – $2,999 will receive 20,000 bonus Qantas Points and customers who spend $3,000+ will receive 30,000 bonus Qantas Points. There is a minimum spend threshold of $500 on a single booking to be eligible to earn bonus points. The spend amount is based on cash spent. Points Plus Pay can still be used but will not contribute to the spend threshold. Vouchers do not contribute to the minimum spend threshold. The full amount of the transaction for bookings made with Deposit Pay will contribute towards the spend threshold. Bonus Qantas Points will be issued to the member who has made the booking and is valid once per transaction. This is in addition to the standard earn rate of 3 points per A$1 spent on the total booking value. Qantas Points will not be earned on any amounts payable directly to the hotel. Points will be credited within 8 weeks of hotel check-out.

does this count for existing bookings?
No. If your booking has free cancellation you could potentially cancel it and rebook.
Does airbnb booking thru Qantas count?
They don’t:
Will I still get the bonus points if the 20% deposit is under $500, but the grand total is over $500?

If the points have come through for the booking with no bonus should I assume an error or wait the whole 8 weeks?
When I last took advantage of an offer like this the regular points came through after around four weeks and then the bonus points two or so weeks later.
