If we have bought gift cards from the marketplace in the past will we still be considered a first time marketplace visitor and eligible for the points?
I suspect any previous purchase will make you ineligible.
anyone got 5000 pts after buying first items on marketplace, but previously bought gift cards?
I queried this with Qantas – they confirmed if you’ve already purchased gift cards previously on Marketplace, that counts as your first purchase and thus you are ineligible for the offer.
Disappointing really when a gift card purchase does not collect the bonus points!

Qantas Wine is separate from Qantas Marketplace so that will not affect your eligibility.
I’m about to make a purchase and used the code MPFIRSTORDER, but I only see the points of my purchase, not the additional 5000. Would they be allocated later or am I missing something?

That’s normal. When using Qantas’ promo codes you don’t always see the bonus appear at checkout even if you are eligible.

How do you get to 31,647 points for the Bose headphones – I can only get to $1647 plus the $5k bonus points?

That one has finished. The next best offer right now appears to be the Garmin dash cam which earns 10,000 bonus points for $249.

I don’t see why not. They’re two separate offers for two different stores and there’s nothing in the terms and conditions for either that excludes the other.
