Use 33% less Qantas points when booking holidays and tours on TripADeal. This means your points will be worth 1.5 cents each instead of the usual rate of 1 cent.
Although not quite as generous as the 50% off promotion they ran in March where you could get 2 cents per point in value, 33% off is still a fairly substantial price reduction.
Whilst booking tours and holidays is generally seen as a poor use of Qantas points, with this promotion it becomes a lot more compelling as it’s very close to the same value that you would get from many reward flights.
If possible, I’d still recommend that you try to book premium economy, business class and first class Classic Rewards where you can expect your points to be worth anywhere from 2.5 to 5+ cents.
However, if you love yourself package holiday and have a bunch of Qantas points burning a hole in your pocket, you could do a lot worse than this.
