American Express is offering 15,000 bonus points if you add an additional card by 11 Apr 2024. You will only receive the bonus 15,000 points on the first additional card that is approved.
Eligible Qantas cards include:
- Qantas Discovery
- Qantas Premium
- Qantas Ultimate
- Qantas Classic
Eligible Velocity cards include:
- Velocity Escape
- Velocity Gold
- Velocity Platinum

Whilst the terms and conditions say that this offer is only available to those who have been invited to participate, reports on OzBargain suggest that you can claim it even if you didn’t receive an email. The points are also apparently credited within minutes, not in 8-10 weeks as the terms state.

The Primary Card Member named above will receive 15,000 Bonus Points when they apply for an Additional Card by clicking on the link on this webpage by 11 April 2024. This offer is limited to the first approved Additional Card added. 15,000 Bonus Points will be awarded to the Primary Card Member’s Account 8 –10 weeks after the Additional Card is approved. The Primary Card Member cannot add an Additional Card under their own name or email address. They also cannot add an Additional Card under the name or email address of a previously approved Additional Card application on the Account. The Primary Card Member may apply for several Additional Cards across different products, but will only receive the 15,000 Bonus Points for the first approved Card. I got my points instantly. Wonder if it would work with adding more then one additional card holder.
I tried one additional card holder yesterday but on 3 seperate primary cards. As yet have received nothing 🙁
