The TCN Her and Teen gift cards are both redeemable at JB Hi-Fi whilst the TCN Restaurant gift card can be used at almost any restaurant or eating place.

How it works
Scan your Flybuys card when buying any of these $50 or $100 gift cards in-store at Coles between 23 Jul and 29 Jul 2025 and you’ll earn 1,000 bonus Flybuys points which usually arrive 1-3 days after your purchase.
Note that both the $50 and $100 denominations of these gift cards earn the same bonus of 1,000 points so you should only buy the $50 cards. On top of the 1,000 points, you’ll also earn 1x point per dollar spent.
There’s a limit of five gift cards per Flybuys account (not per day, five for the duration that the promotion runs). If you bought the maximum of five $50 gift cards, you would earn a total of 5,250 points thanks to the extra 1x point per dollar.
At the same time as this promotion, Woolworths will be offering 20x Everyday Rewards points on Ultimate gift cards that work at a lot of the same places (plus many more). That one has much more generous purchase limits so for larger purchases you may want to consider it instead.
If you’re having trouble swapping your TCN gift cards, try registering them first as that almost always solves the issue.
Where these gift cards can be used
TCN Restaurant gift cards can be used at:
- 5812: Eating Places, Restaurants
- 5813: Bars, Cocktail Lounges, Discotheques, Nightclubs, and Taverns: Drinking Places (Alcoholic Beverages)
Officially, TCN Restaurant gift cards cannot be used at ‘5814: Fast Food Restaurants’ but for some reason this limitation does not seem to apply to the digital version. You can convert your physical TCN Restaurant card into a digital one here so that you can add it your mobile wallet (e.g. Apple Pay).

Having major problems with the last batch of Restaurant gift cards I purchased.
Registered all 3 cards that I purchased on their website and converted one to Apple Pay. Now that has run out of credit, I am attempting to add another one of three to my Apple Pay and I keep getting an error.
– On the site to convert the card to Apple Pay, I get an error “Please check your Card Number and try again. Or contact us for assistance.” – The card number is definitely correct.
– On the register/check balance page, they are both showing as $0 credit remaining despite the only transaction in the Transaction History log being a $100 load.
I have sent an email off using their ‘contact us’ page a few days ago. Still yet to hear anything back.
If you don’t get a solution via email, I’d recommend calling them during business hours as I’ve found their support to be quite good at sorting out problems. It does sound like there might be an issue with your cards.
I love the TC and Restaurant gift cards, but I’m always having to factor in credit card surcharges, which means many of my cards have a small amount of money left over at the end.
I’d love any suggestions on how to overcome this!
