How it works
Purchase any of these gift cards in-store at Coles between 25 Feb and 3 Mar 2026 and scan your Flybuys card at the checkout to earn 20x points per dollar spent.
The bonus points usually credit to your account within 1-3 days. It’s not uncommon to receive the standard 1x point per dollar first followed by the bonus 19x points a few days later so don’t worry if they don’t all arrive at once.
You can only buy up to five gift cards per day and there’s a limit of 50,000 points in total for the promotion period, meaning you’re capped at spending a maximum of $2,500.
These gift cards are available in the following denominations:
- Luxury Escapes: $100-500 variable load
- DoorDash: $100
- Rebel: $30, $50, $100
- BCF: $50, $100
- Supercheap Auto: $20-500 variable load
- Super Adventure: $20-500 variable load
This offer won’t be advertised in your Flybuys app but don’t worry as you don’t need to activate it to be eligible to earn the 20x points.
If you’re buying the Luxury Escapes gift cards, keep in mind that as of 23 Jun 2025 you can only use up to $1,500 worth of gift cards per booking.
DoorDash gift cards are always 20% off for Costco members which is a much better deal than 20x Flybuys points – provided you or someone you know has access to a Costco membership, of course.
Running alongside this is a separate 20x Flybuys points promotion on RedBalloon, Event Cinemas and Village Cinemas gift cards but this isn’t recommended as all of those gift cards are regularly included in much better offers.

Has anyone worked out whether loading LE gift cards into your account and so it’s in credit, and the using that credit to pay for a trip works to get around the $1500 limit?
I booked a cruise that way recently. Had over $3k loaded into my LE account from gift cards and was able to apply the whole amount to the cruise.
I used separate cards for separate hotel stays..eg 3 nights at one and 2 nights at another…great for travelling around but if youre at one place that doesnt help sorry.
I suppose if you were booking an extended stay at one place that went over the $1500 threshold, you could book the first block (under $1500 first) and then the second block separately and ask the hotel to make sure it is one continuous stay (i.e. not have to check out and check in to the same room).
I’ve had to do this when my trip was unexpectedly extended – as long as its the same room type, the hotel won’t mind.
Hello, Just wondering if anyone has used Luxury Escapes vouchers as a credit on your account as well as redeeming some of your velocity points to decrease the value of your stay even more?
I would caution against using your Velocity points to pay for Luxury Escapes bookings because last I checked you only got around 0.5 cents per point which is rather abysmal.
Has anyone used the Supercheap Auto Gift Cards to purchase new tyres online. I have been told they only do it online but its through a different website?
