Earn 10x Flybuys points per dollar spent on Bunnings Warehouse gift cards at Coles. This is only the second time they’ve ever run this offer with the first occurring back in February.
If you spent $1,000 on Bunnings gift cards, for example, you would earn either $50 worth of Flybuys Dollars or 5,000 Velocity points.
Plus, you should be able to combine this offer with the 5x points benefit of OnePass, meaning you could earn a total of 15x Flybuys points per dollar spent on your in-store shops at Bunnings.

How it works
Purchase $20, $50, $100 and $200 Bunnings Warehouse gift cards in-store at Coles between 29 Oct and 4 Nov 2025 and scan your Flybuys card at the checkout to earn 10x points per dollar spent.
Coles do not instantly credit Flybuys points but they should arrive in your account the following day at around 5-6pm. Sometimes only the standard points credit at first so you may have to wait another day or two for the bonus points.
There’s a daily limit of five gift cards and 10,000 points. That means the most you could buy in one day is five of the $200 Bunnings gift cards. If you need to buy more than that, either use a family member’s Flybuys card or go back the next day.
Note that the Bunnings gift cards at Coles can only be used in-store. However, according to this comment on OzBargain you can apparently exchange them for the new online-compatible gift cards at Bunnings.

Any points capped during this period?
10,000 points per day so if you bought five $200 gift cards each day for the whole week you could earn 70,000 points with the one Flybuys account. That’s assuming they don’t sell out, though.
I bought $2000 worth the last time and there were still plenty on the shelves of several coles by the last day.
Sadly, Bunnings no longer gives cash change for the remainder under a multiple of $10 when you use a gift card.
The lowest priced item at Bunnings may be the Hobson M10 Galvanised Spring Washer at 12 cents. At the time of the last 5% offer, if you used a $50 GC to buy this, you would have got back $40 in gift cards and $9.90 in cash. Repeat 4 more times and you would have 5 washers + $49.50 in cash + $2.50 flybuys (and credit card points for spending $50)! 💰💰💪💪

Well..if you invest $7000..after 1 week..in GC,get 70000 FBpoints,decide to put in Qantas to get some trips for free w qantas FF…but ..get 1/2 as rule 2:1,meaning 35000 FF points(if I remember…enough for a long one way overseas ticket..talking about EU).Point is that only if you really have use for this 7grants in bunnings stuff in your life.eheheh..I think these 7 grants can buy easily about 4 return tickets to EU.! am I wrong ?
$7000 would get you 35,000 velocity points. Which is enough to get a one way ticket in business class from the East Coast of Australia to Perth. 150,000ish give or take gets you one way to Europe.
I did the math on this and the qantas marketplace offer is slightly better IF and only IF you have a qantas points earning credit card like the Amex Qantas card that gives bonus points for Qantas spend. Something to keep in mind 🙂
Also depends on if you’re doing auto transfer to Velocity or taking the $ off your shop. Anyway, work it out for your own points strategy before buying.
But then if they have a credit card earning points then the Coles offer would be slightly better
