For the first time in over two months, earn 20x Flybuys points per dollar spent on all denominations of Apple gift cards at Coles.
Apple gift cards can be used to pay for devices such as iPhones, iPads and Macs as well as apps, subscriptions (e.g. iCloud), music and more.
If you bought $2,500 in gift cards to pay for a new iPhone 18 Pro, for example, you would earn 50,000 Flybuys points, equal to $250 in Flybuys Dollars or 25,000 Velocity points.
Here are the details:
- Runs from Wed 4 Nov to Tue 10 Nov 2026
- Only available in-store at Coles
- Limit of five gift cards per day per Flybuys account
- This offer is open to everyone and does not require activation
- Points usually credit in 1-3 days
How it works
To earn the 20x points, you just need to scan your Flybuys card when you purchase Apple gift cards in-store at Coles between 4 Nov and 10 Nov 2026.
The day after your purchase you will receive the standard 1x point per dollar spent and possibly also the 19x bonus points. However, it’s common for the bonus points to lag behind the standard points by a few days. In rare cases they can even take a week or so to arrive.
You can purchase up to five gift cards per day. Since this offer includes the $20-500 variable load Apple gift card denomination, that means you could spend as much as $2,500 in a single day.
You won’t find this offer advertised in your Flybuys app, only in the Coles catalogue and on in-store posters. All Flybuys members are automatically eligible to earn the 20x points and you don’t need to activate anything.
Apple will let you order devices online using your account balance (loaded with up to $4,999 in gift cards) plus another eight gift cards on top, meaning it’s possible to make very large purchases using only gift cards.

Apple gift card tampering
Physical Apple gift cards are a major target for tampering. The only reason we still recommend these offers is because there is a reliable way of identifying tampered gift cards before purchase.
What you need to do is tear open each Apple gift card before you pay for it so that you can reveal the redemption code and check it for scratched off or manipulated characters (e.g. an L changed to look like an I).
If everything looks good, you can then purchase the gift cards. If you want to be extra safe you can immediately redeem them onto your Apple account before leaving the store.
See this article on GCDB for more information about Apple gift card tampering scams including what to do if you buy a tampered gift card.

Hoping this same offer returns at Woolies some time soon, coinciding with the new devices that have just come out!
Woolworths usually run the same offer a week later.
