This is the first bonus points offer we’ve seen on Netflix gift cards since Aug 2024 so if you pay for Netflix, you might want to stock up.
Here are the details:
- Runs from Wed 9 Apr to Tue 15 Apr 2025
- Only available in-store at Coles
- $50 and $100 cards only
- Limit of five gift cards per Flybuys account
- This offer is open to everyone and does not require activation
- Points are usually credited in 1-3 days
How it works
Scan your Flybuys card when buying any of these $50 or $100 gift cards in-store at Coles between 9 Apr and 15 Apr 2025 and you’ll earn 1,000 bonus Flybuys points plus 1x point per dollar spent.
You won’t be told that you’ve qualified for the points at the time of purchase but they should credit to your Flybuys account the next day at around 5pm. Delays of up to a few days aren’t unheard of.
Note that both the $50 and $100 denominations of these gift cards earn the same fixed bonus of 1,000 points so you should only buy the $50 cards. You’re allowed to purchase up to five gift cards in total during this offer.
If it’s the Ultimate gift cards you’re after, you may be better off going with the Woolworths promotion that’s on at the same time as this one as it’ll allow you to buy a lot more than just $250 worth of gift cards.

Can we buy 5x Netflix gift cards in same transaction and still learn 5k points? Or is it there a per transaction card limit?
The only limit is that you can’t earn the 1,000 points more than five times. Buying five $50 Netflix gift cards in one transaction won’t be an issue.
So does it mean that – let’s say i buy $50 gift cards in 5 different transactions, and i’ll earn 1,000 points for each one?
You can buy the five gift cards in one, two, three, four or five transactions – it doesn’t matter.

Thanks for the info. I need $150 worth. If I buy three $50 gift cards in one transaction, will I still get the points? From what you’ve described, it seems pointless to split into multiple transactions, and a bad idea to get a $100 gift card.
You can buy the three $50 gift cards in one, two or three transactions – it doesn’t matter. And yes, the $100 cards are best avoided.

Just been on live chat to flybuys. Completely useless…40min and no resolution so far. Saying 3-5 days for points to post. Anyone at 5 days who wants to try?

I used live chat and they said there has been a delay with posting bonus points and they are looking into it.
Purchased 15/04, currently 21/04 will give it a few days because of the public holiday
Still no bonus points awarded for Netflix
Anyone got their points?
Last I heard Flybuys were claiming it will take a couple of weeks to sort out. It’s a complete joke that they haven’t been credited already.
More than 2 weeks now and still no Netflix cards points.
Contacted flybuys and they asked to email the receipt of the Netflix GC purchases.
Did that and waiting for response
they replied with
“Thanks for getting in touch
We apologise for the delay.
Please rest assured that we’re currently working on having this resolved as soon as possible.”
Just sent an email via their form, so hopefully will hear back soon. Will pop something here if I do!
I heard back today (24 hours) and they said they should be credited by end of this week. Not sure if that was just mine (as a result of my email) or if that’s all of them in general from this offer.
Another one here. I also just sent a query regarding missing points, via online account, along with a copy of receipt and Coles\Netflix\FlyBuys offer.
