A member of the Gift Card Deals group spotted this unannounced promotion at Coles: earn 20x Flybuys points on $50 and $100 Ultimate Him and Ultimate Her and $30 and $50 Ultimate Students gift cards at Coles.
The Ultimate Him can be used at JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Uber and Uber Eats whilst the Ultimate Students card works at Officeworks and IKEA, among others.
Officeworks will be offering 15x Flybuys points on Apple products from 19 Sep to 22 Sep. If you have a OnePass membership (currently half price), you could potentially stack these two offers and earn 35x points per dollar by paying for your Apple product with Ultimate Students gift cards.

- Runs from Wed 11 Sep to Tue 17 Sep 2024.
- Only available in-store at Coles.
- Limit of 30,000 points ($1,500) per Flybuys account.
- Excludes variable load gift cards.
- This offer is open to everyone and does not require activation.
How it works
To earn the 20x points, all you have to do is buy any of these gift cards at Coles between 11 Sep and 17 Sep 2024 and scan your Flybuys card at the checkout. You won’t know you’ve earned the points until they appear in your Flybuys account a day or two later at around 5pm.
Make sure you don’t buy more than $1,500 worth as the promotion limits you to 30,000 points per Flybuys account. Also, don’t accidentally buy the similarly themed TCN Him and Her gift cards as this promotion is only on Ultimate gift cards.

Are we able to use last week’s Vanilla Visa or Coles Mastercard to buy these? Thanks!
I was able to do that a few months ago, but it requires staff intervention for the signature thingy. I think it’s easier to buy Shopback Supermarket card using that Vanilla Visa or Coles MasterCard and then use the supermarket card to buy these gift cards.
The Vanilla Visas don’t support PINs so a signature will be required at Coles but with the Mastercards you can just enter anything as the PIN the first time you’re prompted and that becomes the card’s PIN from then onwards.
Do you know if the bonus points will usually come together with the standard points? I bought the Ultimate HIM yesterday (with the old design and was contemplating if it’s the correct one) $100 x 5 but I only got the 500 points today and now I’m wondering if I bought the wrong one 😕
It’s a common occurrence with Coles promotions lately that the bonus points lag behind the standard points by a day or two. There’s no need to worry just yet.

Yes. As long as it’s an Ultimate Him, Her or Students gift card and isn’t in a variable load denomination you will earn the 20x points.
Does anyone know how to find the expiry date of these cards? Purchased a card but can’t activate as I can’t seem to locate the expiry date..
