Earn 2,000 bonus Velocity points when you link your Velocity Frequent Flyer account to your DoorDash account and place an eligible order by 30 Jun 2026.
Whilst new and returning customers have had this bonus available for some time, what’s changed is that existing DoorDash members can now also earn the 2,000 points.
If you’re a new or returning DoorDash member you’ll receive the points within three business days of your first eligible order but existing customers may not receive them until the end of July.
You can also earn 1x Velocity point per dollar spent, although this pales in comparison to the 10x Velocity or Qantas points that you can earn by paying for your orders with DoorDash or selected TCN and Ultimate gift cards purchased at Coles or Woolworths during one of the regular bonus offers (e.g. this week).
Better yet, if you’re a Costco member you can buy DoorDash gift cards for 20% off at any time both in-store and online.
Officially, you can’t earn the 1x Velocity point per dollar on amounts paid with gift cards but for some reason this limitation isn’t actually enforced. However, to qualify for the initial 2,000 points you may want to avoid using gift cards as eligibility for that bonus may be verified differently to the ongoing points.
Terms and conditions
During the promotion period of 12.01am AEST on 15 June 2026 to 11.59pm AEST on 30 June 2026 (unless extended, varied or removed by DoorDash or Velocity), Velocity Frequent Flyer members (“Velocity Member”) who are Existing DoorDash Customers and have a registered customer account with DoorDash can earn 2,000 bonus Velocity Points by linking their Velocity and DoorDash accounts by entering their first name, last name and valid Velocity membership number into their DoorDash customer account in the settings section of the DoorDash app or http://www.doordash.com and completing their first linked Eligible Order.
The 2,000 bonus Points offer can only be earned once per Velocity Member. This offer is not valid with any other Velocity Points offer except the ongoing DoorDash Earn offer.
Velocity Members will continue to earn 1 Velocity Point per $1 spent on all completed Eligible Orders that are made via doordash.com or on the DoorDash app in conjunction with the Bonus Points offer. See the DoorDash Earn offer for more details.
The Velocity Member’s first and last name on their Velocity membership account must match the first and last name registered to their DoorDash customer account.
Velocity Members can only earn Velocity Points on a single linked DoorDash account. Once your Velocity Frequent Flyer account and DoorDash customer account are linked you cannot link that Velocity Frequent Flyer account to another DoorDash customer account.
If the Velocity Member meets the eligibility requirements for this offer, the bonus Velocity Points will be allocated to the Velocity Member’s Velocity membership account within:
- 3 working days of completion of the Eligible Order if they are a Returning DoorDash Customer or a New DoorDash Customer; or
- 28 days of 30 June 2026 if they are an Existing DoorDash Customer.
This offer is subject to the Velocity membership Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time. The DoorDash Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the DoorDash platforms and all orders.
“Eligible Order“ means a purchase transaction (for delivery or pickup) made by a Velocity Member through the DoorDash app or http://www.doordash.com within Australia, other than Excluded Transactions. Velocity Points can be earned on the purchase transaction subtotal (incl. applicable fees, taxes, additional charges and delivery fees) after any other promotions or discounts have been applied. If a Gift Card is used as a payment method, Velocity Points will not be earned on the portion of the transaction paid for using the Gift Card.
“Excluded Transaction” means the purchase of Gift Cards, payment of tips and DashPass subscription fees.
“New DoorDash Customer” means an individual who creates a valid customer account with DoorDash after 12.01am AEST on 13th August 2025 and who has not previously held a DoorDash customer account.
“Returning DoorDash Customer” means an individual who had/has a registered customer account with DoorDash but has not placed an order using that account in 365 days immediately prior to completing an Eligible Order.
“Existing DoorDash Customer” means an individual who had/has a registered customer account with DoorDash and who, as at the time of placing an Eligible Order, has placed at least one order with DoorDash in the preceding 365 days.
To earn Velocity Points, you must be a Velocity member. Velocity membership is subject to the Velocity membership Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time.

What if you already have a DoorDash account that has had the points bonus paid out e.g. a year ago, but you still have your Velocity number linked?
Does this mean I can get the 2000 points again now?
Can’t seem to find the terms and conditions mentioned when I read them from my velocity account. There is no mentioning at all to “Existing DoorDash Customers”
