“Velocity members under the age of 18 at the time of travel (Eligible Member) will receive double Velocity Points for their Eligible Flight with Virgin Australia when: (1) this offer is activated for the Eligible Member’s membership via the activation link, between 12.01am AEST 8 May 2023 and 11.59pm AEST 17 May 2023 inclusive (Promotion Period); (2) after offer activation, an Eligible Flight is booked and ticketed for the Eligible Member during the Promotion Period, and the valid Velocity membership number for the Eligible Member is included at the time of booking; and (3) the Eligible Member flies on the Eligible Flight booked during the Promotion Period. The Eligible Member must be under 18 at time of travel to be eligible for the double Points promotion. Velocity members who are over 18 at the time of travel, or other Velocity members on a flight booking with an Eligible Member, will not be eligible to receive double Velocity Points. An Eligible Flight is a Domestic, Trans-Tasman or International short-haul flight marketed and operated by Virgin Australia flown between 12.01am AEST 8 May 2023 and 11.59pm AEST 2 April 2024 inclusive and booked and ticketed in a fare class that normally accrues Points. Points cannot be earned on Velocity Reward Seat bookings. Any Virgin Australia flight which is combined in the same booking as a partner airline flight will not be eligible for this promotion. Codeshare services marketed or operated by partner airlines are not eligible for this offer. Bonus Velocity Points will be earned in addition to base Velocity Points earned. Points will be calculated based on the originally purchased fare class and any upgrades (other than when you paid the full commercial fare) will not attract additional Points as a result of this offer. There is no limit on the amount of times this offer can be redeemed. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
