1,500 Everyday Rewards points, 10% off your Woolworths shop every month and free items when you join Everyday Extra

Join Everyday Extra via a referral link and you will earn 1,500 bonus Everyday Rewards points. These points will be credited within seven days of your first payment.

Everyday Extra membership costs $7 per month or $70 for a year. In Nov 2023, May 2024 and Nov 2024 they ran half price promotions for the annual plan ($35 instead of $70) so those are worth keeping an eye out for as well.

If you’ve never taken up the free trial offer before, you can do so and still receive the 1,500 points but they’ll only be credited when your trial ends and you make your first payment.

Previous Everyday Extra subscribers are eligible for the bonus points but only if their subscription ended more than six months ago.

What is Everyday Extra?

Everyday Extra membership gets you 10% off one Woolworths shop each month (up to $50 off), 2x points on all shops at both Woolworths and Big W and the occasional free item. These benefits are subject to terms and conditions which you can find here.

Is Everyday Extra worth it?

Yes and no. From July 2022 until March 2026, I have personally saved over $1,000, earned 55,000 extra points and claimed 34 free items so for me it has certainly been worth it.

However, what is undeniable is that Everyday Extra is a lot worse now compared to when it first launched. In 2023 they reduced the bonus points from 3x to 2x and in 2025 the 10% discount stopped working at Big W.

The free items are also a lot less common now; previously you’d get one almost every month but nowadays it’s more like one every two or three months if you’re lucky.

If you’re still spending $70 or more in one shop each month at Woolworths it makes sense to subscribe as you’ll at least break even with the 10% discount.

If you do decide to sign up, feel free to do so using my referral link so that you can earn the 1,500 points joining bonus.

      1. Sadly, no. It was briefly possible to do so at Big W in 2022 but they’ve long since closed that loophole.

  1. Are you able to receive the 10% off a shop once per month at Woolies if you already get that via Woolies Mobile; so get 10% off twice a month?

      1. It didn’t allow me to complete the process. I’ve gone back in again, and it looks like it might work but there is no mention of a referral, so how does it know to allocate the 1500 points to me. The page doesn’t look any different to when I go in from the website directly.

  2. If you end the free trial before its end date – can you then sign up with the referral link above for the 1500 points?

    1. It says you can’t have been a member within the past six months if you want to earn the 1,500 points so it sounds like you wouldn’t be eligible if you’d recently used a free trial.
