This is the first time we have ever seen a gift card offer like this at Kmart. Hopefully this isn’t just a one-off as it would be great to see more retailers regularly offering bonus points on gift cards.

How it works
Scan your Flybuys when you purchase Ultimate Him, Her, Students and Kids gift cards in-store at Kmart between 27 Nov and 30 Nov 2025.
The terms and conditions state that the bonus points will be awarded within four weeks of the offer ending but it may be the case that they will credit much sooner than that.
There’s a purchase limit of five gift cards per day per Flybuys account. Note that the variable load Ultimate gift cards are excluded so make sure you only buy the ones pictured on the signage.
If you’re buying these gift cards to use at JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys or Officeworks, note that you can only use multiple Ultimate gift cards when shopping in-store.

Could I use the Cole’s vanilla Mastercard on these?
I would assume so.
Are the Ultimate gift cards known to be vulerable to hackers like TCN’s?
I have seen a couple of reports of tampering with Ultimate gift cards over the years but nothing compared to TCN. The Ultimate website also never had a major vulnerability like the TCN website. I would feel perfectly comfortable buying these gift cards.
Do I get any additional points if I am with OnePass?
I’m not sure. I know at Target you earn the OnePass points on gift card purchases so that might also be the case at Kmart.
