Earn 10x Qantas points per dollar spent when you purchase Apple digital gift cards on Qantas Marketplace.
For example, if you buy $2,000 worth of Apple gift cards you will earn 20,000 Qantas points.
Whilst this is the same amount of Qantas points you would earn from one of the frequent Apple offers at Woolworths, the advantage here is that you can buy online and there’s no purchase limit.
Also, you don’t have to worry about purchasing tampered Apple gift cards which are unfortunately quite common with the in-store promotions.
The points for Qantas Marketplace purchases usually credit within 1-2 days. If you have a credit card that awards additional points for spending with Qantas then you’ll earn those points too.
Even the Qantas Pay prepaid card that anyone can get (no credit check required) will earn you an extra 1.25x Qantas points per dollar spent for a total of 11.25x points.
If you’re curious about how and where you can use Apple gift cards along with other ways you can maximise your savings (e.g. price matching, Qantas Shopping, cashback etc), check out this detailed guide on GCDB.
Warning: Don’t pay for these gift cards using your Qantas points as it’s terrible value. Move the slider all the way over so you’re only paying cash.

If i buy $720 worth of giftcard to buy the mac neo. How much Qantas points will i get then what can I get with these points? I do not have any Qantas points currently…
720×10=7,200 points. Do you have a QFF account? You must to get the points credited into it. You can accumulate QFF points to go towards flights or merchandise purchased through QFF marketplace.
7,200 Qantas points on their own are pretty useless as most reward flights cost several times that. You really need to have tens or even hundreds of thousands of them for it to be worthwhile.
thank you. I will wait for another promotion then. Do you know when the everyday rewards promo for apple gc will return?
This is essentially the same deal as woolworths, the point of the previous comment was that 7200 points aren’t gonna get a you flight overtime but overtime 100k+ points will get you decent redemptions
yeah i don’t think it’s worth it for me as i have 0 QFF
Have to start stacking points from somewhere …
Is there anyway to stack this with then purchasing with Apple but through the Qantas shopping where they have 3 points per $1 spend? I need a new phone and this would add an extra approx 4500 points
Annoyingly, iPhone 17s are still excluded from earning those extra points on Qantas Shopping. I think is the longest they’ve ever excluded a new release item as normally they remove them after 2-3 months.
Oh that’s annoying. I purchased anyway, will I still get the 1x points per spend or none? Thanks for your help!
You won’t get any.
Hi admin, is this x10 points qantas via apple gift card is equivalent to x20 woolies apple card ?
It’s exactly the same if you’re converting your Everyday Rewards points to Qantas points as 20x Everyday Rewards = 10x Qantas points.
Can I purchase Apple gift cards (via Qantas) and purchase Apple IPhone 17 at the apple store? Or is the IPhone 17 excluded from being purchased via the gift card?
You can use these gift cards to buy an iPhone 17. They should work in-store, although I have seen a couple of people report issues redeeming Apple gift cards in-store. Worst case you can just order online for delivery or click and collect.
Do these gift cards work overseas? I am currently in Japan, would I be able to add the digital card to my Australian apple account and use that to purchase a product online at apple.jp?
They only work in Australia.
Is it better to go for the 10x points per $1 spent or the save 20% off points redemption offer?
Redeeming points on gift cards is terrible value – even when there’s a discount.
