10x Qantas points on Timezone gift cards on Qantas Marketplace, 5x points on Accor, Lululemon and selected other gift cards

Earn 10x Qantas points per dollar spent on Timezone, Kingpin and Zone Bowling gift cards on Qantas Marketplace.

Whilst this is the same amount of points as you would earn from one of the frequent 20x Everyday Rewards points offers at Woolworths, the advantage here is that you can buy online instead of heading in-store.

Also, you can earn an extra 1.25x Qantas points per dollar spent if you pay for the gift cards using a Qantas Pay prepaid card. Certain credit cards can earn even more points on Qantas Marketplace purchases.

Qantas Marketplace are also offering 5x points per dollar on selected gift cards such as Accor, Lululemon, TCN Restaurant, TCN Pamper, TCN Him, TCN Her, IKEA, Myer and more.

However, with the possible exception of Accor and Lululemon, almost all of these other gift cards are regularly included in much better offers than 5x points.

Warning: Make sure you don’t accidentally pay for using your Qantas points as it’s terrible value. Move the slider all the way over so you’re exclusively paying with cash.

  1. Hi
Can you comment whether accor gift card is good value if i am booking hotels via accor plus?

    1. This article explains more about how they work. They can’t be used to book ALL Accor+ member rates but I’ve seen a couple of reports where people claim to have done so.

5x Qantas points is the best points offer we’ve seen on Accor gift cards since they were last included in a Woolworths offer in Nov 2024 but they are always 8% off on Macquarie Marketplace which is arguably better than 5x points.

      1. given you have to pay cash on Macquarie, 5x plus cc points (as high as 3.25x) is definitely better

    2. I’ve used to pay rooms booked as an Accor + member without issue. You can only pay at the hotel though so cannot use for red hot room rates etc.

      1. Yes. I’ve done the same. I always book the free cancellation rate. While it’s more expensive, my circumstances mean things can change last minute

  2. If the room has the standard cancellable pay on arrival A+ rack rate you can use gift cards. You will not (I think, but do correct me) get the 3x qff points for a giftcard. Advanced booking, RHR, multiple night and stayplus discounts are excluded.

A terrible offer. Use a points card if you got one.
