5,000 Velocity points on your first Velocity Store Marketplace purchase of $150 or more

Earn 5,000 bonus Velocity points when you spend $150 or more (excluding delivery) in your first ever transaction on the Velocity Store Marketplace. Offer limited to the first 10,000 members.

The bonus is only available on Marketplace items that you pay for on the Velocity Store website (excluding gift cards). Shop and Earn purchases where you pay on the retailer’s own website are ineligible.

You also have the option of qualifying for the bonus by spending 30,000 points but this isn’t recommended as you should only ever redeem Velocity points on reward flights.

This 5,000 points offer only makes sense if you were already planning to buy something for $150 or so because the more you spend, the less attractive it becomes.

The Velocity Store is unlikely to be the cheapest option so make sure you compare prices before buying. If the difference isn’t too significant (i.e. no more than $50), you may still be able to justify paying Velocity’s prices.

For example, a four pack of Apple AirTags is $165 on the Velocity Store but only $129 on Amazon. However, $36 is a very reasonable price to pay for 5,495 points (you also earn 3x points per dollar spent) if you think your Velocity balance could do with a boost.

Terms and conditions

Velocity Frequent Flyer Members (“Members”) who shop via the Velocity Store and complete an Eligible Transaction with a Marketplace Seller between 12:00am AEDT on 19 October 2026 and 11:59pm AEDT on 30 November 2026 (“Offer Period”) may be eligible to earn 5,000 bonus Velocity Points (“Points Offer”).

An Eligible Transaction is a Member’s first ever transaction via the Velocity Store, made during the Offer Period, where the Member:

• spends a minimum of AUD$150 (excluding shipping and delivery charges) in a single transaction with a Marketplace Seller, 
• redeems a minimum of 30,000 Velocity Points in a single transaction with a Marketplace Seller; or (each an Eligible Transaction).

A transaction will only qualify as an Eligible Transaction if it is the Member’s first ever transaction via the Velocity Store. 

The Points Offer is not available in connection with the purchase or redemption of any gift cards or vouchers, or purchases made via Shop and Earn Retailers. 

The Points Offer is only available to the first 10,000 Members who successfully complete an Eligible Transaction during the Offer Period, unless extended.  

A Member may receive the bonus Points once only under this Points Offer.

To make an Eligible Transaction, the Member must make a purchase from a Marketplace Seller via the Velocity Store website. Purchases made via the Velocity Store are subject to the relevant Marketplace Seller’s terms and conditions, including those relating to price, delivery and returns.

The approval and processing of purchases is subject to the relevant Marketplace Seller’s processes and terms and conditions. Velocity may withhold, cancel or reverse Velocity Points, where Velocity is advised by the relevant Marketplace Seller, or otherwise determines, that: 

1. the Member has cancelled the relevant purchase or returned the products;
2. an invalid e-Voucher or payment method was used at the time of purchase;
3. the applicable purchase conditions were not satisfied; or
4. the retailer cancelled the purchase transaction, including due to product availability or fraudulent activity by the Member.

If bonus Points are credited to a Member’s Velocity account and the relevant transaction is subsequently determined not to be an Eligible Transaction, Velocity may reverse those bonus Points. 

The Velocity Store Terms and Conditions and Velocity Membership Terms and Conditions apply. This Offer may be changed, extended, suspended or withdrawn at any time, subject to applicable law. Any suspension, change or withdrawal will not affect a Velocity Member’s entitlement to bonus Points where the Member completed an Eligible Transaction before the relevant change took effect, subject to these Terms and Conditions.
