Earn 20x Everyday Rewards points per dollar spent on Apple and $250 Luxury Escapes gift cards in-store at Big W. You can use Apple gift cards to purchase devices (e.g. iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch etc), apps, subscriptions and more.
In previous years there has always been a pause on Apple gift cards during September and October when the new iPhones are released so this is likely your last chance to earn bonus points on Apple gift cards for some time.
Here are the details:
- Runs from Thu 21 Aug to Wed 27 Aug 2025
- Only available in-store at Big W
- Limit of ten Apple gift cards
- Limit of ten Luxury Escapes gift cards
- This offer is open to everyone and does not require activation
How it works
Scan your Everyday Rewards card when you purchase Apple or $250 Luxury Escapes gift cards in-store at Big W between 21 Aug and 27 Aug 2025 and you will receive 20x points per dollar spent, instantly awarded after payment.
For each of these gift cards there is a limit of ten cards Everyday Rewards account (not ten per day, ten in total for the duration of the offer). All Apple gift card denominations are eligible for the 20x points (including the $20-500 variable load cards) but only the $250 Luxury Escapes gift card will count.
If you’re planning a large Apple purchase, Apple will let you pay online using your account balance (loaded with up to $4,999 of gift cards) plus another eight unredeemed gift cards on top. The Apple gift card guide on GCDB has more details about how they can be used.
Always check what other retailers such as JB Hi-Fi, Amazon and Officeworks are charging as you can get Apple to price match them (up to a maximum of 10% off) if you call 133-622 and you can still pay with your Apple gift cards or account balance.
You may be able to double dip on points by clicking through the Apple page on Qantas Shopping before making your purchase on the Apple website. Whilst the terms state that you won’t earn the points when paying with gift cards, it’s unclear if this applies to account balances as I have received the points when paying that way.
Apple gift card tampering
Apple gift cards are sometimes targeted by scammers who remove or obscure the redemption codes so that you’re unable to redeem them. For that reason, make sure you open up your Apple gift cards before you pay for them to ensure that they haven’t been tampered with.
Carefully inspect the redemption codes on your gift cards to see if any characters have been scratched off or modified (this could be as subtle as changing an L to look like an I, a Z to look like 7 and so on). More info here.
