What makes this an exceptionally rare offer is that 1,000 points on a $25 gift card works out to be 41x points per dollar spent. This is the first time since 2021 that Coles have run such a generous bonus on a JB Hi-Fi-compatible gift card.

How it works
Scan your Flybuys card when purchasing any of these specific gift cards in-store at Coles between 11 Mar and 17 Mar 2026 and you’ll earn 1,000 bonus points on each of them.
This offer runs alongside the 2,000 points offer we announced last week but it’s completely separate so your participation in one won’t affect your ability to earn points in the other.
You won’t be told at the time of purchase that you’ve received the points but they should credit to your account within 1-3 days. Delays of a few days are quite common and sometimes you only receive some of the points at first.
Each Flybuys account can purchase up to five of these gift cards in total during the offer period. That’s five in total, not five per day or five of each type of card.
The included denominations are:
- TCN Party: $25, $40
- TCN Kids: $50
- TCN Teen: $50
- TCN Eftpos: $100 ($5.95 fee), $200 ($7.95 fee)
The $25 TCN Party gift card is the best value here as it’s effectively 41x points per dollar spent once you factor in the standard Flybuys points that you also earn. The $40 TCN Party gift card is also above average at 26x points.
At 21x points per dollar, the $50 TCN Kids and Teen gift cards are okay but nothing special as we constantly see offers on that level.
The $100 and $200 Eftpos gift cards should be avoided as the 1,000 bonus points won’t even offset the costly $5.95-7.95 purchase fees. These two are the only cards in this offer with fees because they’re Eftpos gift cards that work anywhere (more or less) whereas the others are limited to specific retailers.

The image in this article is an example of one of the posters you’ll find in many stores, although some don’t always put them up. I wouldn’t worry too much about what staff have to say as they usually have no idea what they’re talking about when it comes to these weekly gift card offers.
