Earn 20x Flybuys points per dollar spent on Luxury Escapes, Event Cinemas and Village Cinemas gift cards at Coles.
For example, if you bought $1,000 in Luxury Escapes gift cards you would earn 20,000 Flybuys points, convertible to $100 in Flybuys Dollars or 10,000 Velocity points.

How it works
Scan your Flybuys card when buying Luxury Escapes, Event Cinemas or Village Cinemas gift cards in-store at Coles between 24 Jun and 30 Jun 2026 and you’ll earn 20x points per dollar spent.
Unlike Woolworths, Coles don’t award points instantly but they should credit to your account 1-3 days later. In rare cases it can take even longer and sometimes the bonus points may be credited in batches.
There is a purchase limit of five gift cards per day and a total limit of 50,000 points, meaning you can spend a maximum of $2,500 on gift cards during this offer.
This promotion won’t be found in your Flybuys app because it’s from the Coles catalogue. You don’t need to activate anything as all Flybuys members are eligible to participate.
Luxury Escapes limit you to $1,500 in gift cards per booking. There is allegedly a workaround where you book and then cancel fully refundable bookings so the gift card balance is returned as account credit but it’s unclear if this method still works.
Note that you cannot use Luxury Escapes gift cards to book standalone airfares. The only airfares they can be used to pay for are those that are included as part of an accomodation package.
The Event Cinemas and Village Cinemas gift cards are not worth buying because Coles frequently run much better offers (e.g. 41x points) on the more versatile TCN Cinema gift card (most recently last week).
