Update: A number of people have reported receiving tampered Apple gift cards from Coles and Woolworths that cannot be redeemed. Tampered cards are often hard to open and the cards inside the packet sometimes have the wrong dollar amount on them. The serial number on the outside of the gift card packet also won’t match the one on the inside. Check your gift cards before leaving the store and if you notice that some have been tampered with, insist that you are refunded.
