Choosing Sydney as the departure point, the lowest priced trip I could find came in at $420 per person for flights and two nights in Launceston. Flights and two nights on the Gold Coast start at $516 per person.
Those prices are per person so it’s assumed that you’ll be travelling with someone who will share the cost. The prices for solo travellers are quite a bit higher.
Whilst 10,000 points is a solid bonus offer (the last one they ran was just 5,000 points), it goes without saying that you should always compare prices before booking any travel.
