Earn 20x Everyday Rewards points per dollar spent on Luxury Escapes, IKEA, Flight Centre, Hoyts and RedBalloon gift cards at Woolworths.

Here are the details:

  • Runs from Wed 10 Dec to Tue 16 Dec 2025
  • Only available in-store at Woolworths
  • For Flight Centre gift cards, a limit of two per day
  • For all other gift cards, a limit of five per day
  • This offer is open to everyone and does not require activation

How it works

Scan your Everyday Rewards card when you purchase any of these gift cards in-store at Woolworths between 10 Dec and 16 Dec 2025 and you will earn 20x points per dollar spent. The points should arrive in your account immediately after you pay.

There is a purchase limit of five gift cards per day for all gift cards in this offer with the exception of the Flight Centre gift cards which have a lower limit of two per day.

As always, these weekly gift card promotions are rarely featured in the Everyday Rewards app as they typically only advertise them in the Woolworths catalogue and via posters in-store. You don’t need to “boost” anything to qualify for the 20x points.

You can use unlimited gift cards both in-store and online when shopping at IKEA. For Luxury Escapes, they now limit you to a maximum of $1,500 worth of gift cards per booking.

Flight Centre gift cards have a ridiculous $6.95 purchase fee so they should be avoided.

Denominations

These gift cards are available in the following denominations:

  • Luxury Escapes: $100-500 variable load
  • IKEA: $100, $200
  • Flight Centre: $200 ($6.95 purchase fee applies)
  • Hoyts: $30, $50, $100
  • RedBalloon: $100, $200

  1. Is the hack of loading lux escapes vouchers into the account to go over the 1500 limit been closed?

      1. Per T&C you can only use 1500 in gift cards per order, but Apparently their was a way around it by using the app and loading gift cards to the account, once loaded as credit you could use that amount towards the transaction.

Maybe @freepoints could let us know if the hack has been closed?

      2. The two methods I’ve heard of are redeeming the gift cards in the Luxury Escapes app or asking their customer support to add them to your account but there are mixed reports of either method working so I’m not 100% sure.

  2. Can anyone here confirm that we can upload the Lux escape gc onto the app? I’m trying to figure out how. I’m at the credits & payments tab, it says I have $0 and no saved cards, but there are no options for me to add cards. Is it located somewhere else? Thanks

    1. You can’t load them in that section, you can only load as a form of payment when booking something.

  3. I’ve been purchasing gift cards during the 20X points incentives recently but with the EFTPOS fees they now charge (trying to use finish using my Restaurant and Pub & Bar gift cards) how is everyone able to make sure they’re using their gift card to $0 balance? Every time I tried to use the remainder, the merchant adds their EFTPOS fees so now I’m left with several cards of $1-2 balances left because they aren’t able to calculate the fees to the cent.

    1. Like is there any places people recommend spending the remaining dollars where there isn’t an EFTPOS charge and can take part payments, like Woolies gift cards where I can do part payments at Woolies?

  4. Purchased 6×100, 1×200 Ikea gift cards today, got 14000 points. Not sure if the limits are 5 or 10/day.

    1. If the limit was ten per day you would have received 16,000 points since you spent $800. The fact that you received 14,000 tells me that you only earned the 20x points of 5/6 of the $100 cards and then also on the $200 card.

The reason for this is that Woolworths actually apply purchase limits to each individual card type rather than as an overall limit, meaning you should in fact be able to buy five $100 and five $200 IKEA gift cards all on the same day.

They’ve been doing this for a long time but it’s possible that one day they’ll fix it so I’d only recommend buying more than five gift cards in a single day if the checkout says you have earned the points before you pay.

  5. Been purchasing $1000 times each day on my wife’s and my accounts and getting the 20k points straight away. Just bought $1000 on my account and no points. About to go to another Woolworths as mine ran out of gift cards and see if I get points there. Has this happened to anyone today?

  6. Could you please tell me if it is possib le to retrospectively apply the IKEA gift cards to previous purchases? I had a big order last week, but I missed this promotion 🙁 On a previous offer I was able to retrospectively apply the Uber gift card to purchases in the prior month.
