20x Everyday Rewards points on Apple gift cards at Big W

Earn 20x Everyday Rewards points per dollar spent on all denominations of Apple gift cards in-store at Big W. Apple gift cards can be used to buy devices, apps, music, subscriptions and more.

Spending $1,000 on Apple gift cards would see you earn either $100 of Everyday Rewards Dollars or 10,000 Qantas points depending on your rewards preference.

Here are the details:

  • Runs from Thu 30 Jan to Wed 5 Feb 2025
  • Only available in-store at Big W
  • Limit of ten gift cards per Everyday Rewards member
  • This offer is open to everyone and does not require activation

How it works

Buy Apple gift cards in-store at Big W between 30 Jan and 5 Feb 2025 and scan your Everyday Rewards card at the checkout to earn 20x points per dollar spent. The bonus points should be immediately visible in your Everyday Rewards account after you’ve paid.

This offer is from the Big W catalogue, not the Everyday Rewards app, so no activation is required as it’s open to all members automatically.

Note the limit of ten Apple gift cards per Everyday Rewards member is for the duration of the promotion. It isn’t a “per day” limit like with the Woolworths offers. If you need more than ten gift cards, you’ll need to use multiple Everyday Rewards accounts or wait until another offer comes around.

Warning: make sure you check your Apple gift cards for signing of tampering before you pay for them. Confirm that the serial number on the inside and outside match and that the redemption code hasn’t had any of its characters removed. If there’s something wrong, don’t buy the gift card. 1. My woolies still had signage up last night of x20
points on Apple gift cards at woolies, didn’t that end at woolies a couple of promos ago? 🤣

    1. It happens surprisingly often. I prefer when they accidentally put up the posters for future promotions as it means we can learn about them earlier than usual.

  2. Wish we could see more of this on BigW. It would be amazing having Woolies and BigW running different boosts.

  3. Out of curiosity what are people buying/spending these apple gift cards on? New phones.,macs or in app purchases?
I just don’t understand fully the apple temptation.

    1. I think most of us use them to pay for iPhones, iPads and Macs. Apple devices are rarely heavily discounted so these gift card offers are a great way to save a bit of money (or earn some Qantas points).

      1. Thank you. I understand now. I have a 3.5yr iphone 11 pro max, bought outright and working fine on 365 plan that works out $17/minth. I’ll probably get a battery swap organised for $150 prior to spending >1k on new iphone. Trying to balance my frugality with the temptations of points!

    2. I add funds to my Apple Account balance to auto-pay for apps and subscriptions like Apple One, AppleCare+, Tinder, and ChatGPT. Since I’m already paying, earning points on them is a bonus.
The easiest way to load your Apple Account for apps or hardware (online or in-store) is through the App Store—just select “Redeem Gift Cards or Code.”

  5. Big W at Warringah mall is not selling the Apple Card’s as I got told by a staff member that the cards has been hacked? I said what you mean? She said: our entire stock of Apple Card’s has Ben compromised?? Have anyone ever got told such a thing?

    1. If they’re one of the Big Ws that keeps their Apple gift cards on public display and not behind the counter then it’s possible they had to remove the whole lot because they found tampered cards among them.

  6. Just to confirm, the customer limit for the entire promotion is 10 gift cards. However, does this mean I can purchase 10 × $200 cards or 10 × variable cards up to $500 each? If so, the maximum possible points would be 50,000 QFF points. Is that correct? Thank you!

    Reply

    1. Yes, you could purchase ten of the $20-500 variable load cards and earn yourself 100,000 Everyday Rewards points (=50,000 Qantas points).

      1. That’s great! Not sure why Big W limit this promotion to 10 gift cards per account. Most of us wouldn’t buy that many given how often these promotions run. Thanks for all your help, much appreciated!”
