20x Everyday Rewards points on Airbnb, Apple, Rebel, BCF and Supercheap Auto gift cards at Big W

Thanks to an anonymous source for letting us know about this offer early.

Earn 20x Everyday Rewards points per dollar spent on selected denominations of Airbnb, Apple, Rebel, BCF, Supercheap Auto and Super Adventure gift cards. This promotion is valid from Thu 30 Nov to Wed 6 Dec 2023 and is only available in-store at Big W. Limit of ten cards per Everyday Rewards member.

See below for a list of included card denominations:

Gift CardIncluded Denominations
Airbnb, Rebel, BCF$100
Supercheap Auto, Super Adventure$20-500
Apple$30, $50, $100, $200, $20-500

Don’t make the common mistake of buying a card denomination that’s not included in the promotion. If you want to buy more than $1,000 worth of Airbnb, Rebel or BCF gift cards, you will have to use multiple Everyday Rewards accounts as you can only buy a maximum of ten $100 cards.

Big W’s most recent gift card offer was fraught with problems and many people are still trying to chase up their missing points with Everyday Rewards (see, for example, some of the comments on this post). Thankfully, the reports we’ve received so far suggest that this promotion is running much more smoothly with everyone receiving their points immediately upon purchase.

  1. I’m concerned about your post of big w pocket money . I think you mean aldi and it’s $25 cards only not $25-$75 there is no such thing.

    1. Big W stocks variable load $25-75 Pocket Money gift cards which will be 10% off from 7 Dec. This is a separate offer to the current one running at Aldi.

  2. If you’re looking for several thousand $ of the AirBNB (across multiple accounts of course), do BigW stock plenty, or do you need to go to multiple stores to get?

    1. Stocks vary by store. Some may have dozens of $100 Airbnb cards on their shelves whilst others may have none at all. Unfortunately, there’s no way to tell without visiting the store or possibly by calling them and asking.

These Airbnb promotions are quite popular and people will naturally buy a lot so if you do plan to pick up several thousand dollars worth, I would strongly encourage you to go on the first day, preferably first thing in the morning.

      1. That’s the plan for Thursday – need $8k worth!

(didn’t think it was worth going in a few days earlier and hiding the cards somewhere in the store to retrieve on the day!)

    1. You’re only supposed to have one account per person but you could help members of your family or household to open accounts in their names.

  3. I had to call 3 times to get the last offer – I’m owed more than 40,000 points. They said there is a known problem with BigW and ER points so you need to wait. They would not offer an ETA. Hopeless…

  4. If I buy the $20-$500 Airbnb gift cards and request $100 per card will this qualify? I can’t find any $100 Airbnb cards in my local store.

    Reply

    1. Sadly, no. You have to buy the fixed value $100 Airbnb card if you want to earn 20x points.

  5. Hi, I’m wondering if anyone might be able to tell me my chances of having this promo offered on the Airbnb $20-500 cards?

I purchased these today thinking it was included in the 20x point promo but realized this afternoon it was on the $100 cards only?

If I can’t redeem the points offer will I be able to return the gift cards?

    1. Stand to be corrected, but I believe the offer states only the denomination of $100 is included for the Airbnb promotion. Whilst it is is highly unlikely you’ll be able to return the gift cards, I would suggest you still try anyway. Perhaps pleading your case to the store manager might help. All the best.

    2. It’s very unlikely that they’ll allow you to return the gift cards but you may still be able to get the points. Give Everyday Rewards a call or message and explain what happened. If it’s your first mistake of this kind, there’s a decent chance they’ll manually credit you the points as a once off gesture of good will.

    1. Buying points is against Qantas’ terms of use and they have been known to close accounts over it. Also, having just taken a scroll through eBay’s sold listings for Qantas points, it is astounding to me that people are paying so much to acquire Qantas points through such risky means when it would be cheaper to simply buy wine that comes with bonus points.

The value of these gift card promotions is that they allow you to earn points on purchases you were already going to make. They’re not just a way to buy points. If that’s your aim, buy wine.
