If you spent $1,000 on gift cards, for example, you would earn 6,000 Everyday Rewards points which could be converted to $30 in Everyday Rewards Dollars or 3,000 Qantas points.
That works out to be 3x Qantas points per dollar spent which is worse than the 4.25x Qantas points you can earn from buying Everyday WISH gift cards on Qantas Marketplace with a Qantas Pay prepaid card (potentially more with the right credit card).
Non-frequent flyers who collect Everyday Rewards points to save on their shop would likely be better off using one of the many upfront discounts that are available on Woolworths Group gift cards (e.g. 3.5% off on Macquarie Marketplace).
Up until last year, these 6x points promotions could be stacked with the constant 3% discounts that Everyday Gifting had available. Whilst the combined Woolworths & Big W gift card is still 3% off, it’s not eligible for the 6x points, unfortunately.
However, now that the Your Pick gift card has been re-launched, this offer could be a decent way to earn some points on eBay gift cards as promotions on them are basically non-existent these days and they’re not even sold on Qantas Marketplace.
Looking at the rest of the gift cards that the Your Pick card can be swapped for, most, if not all, of them are frequently included in better deals.

The Qantas Pay reloadable prepaid card earns 1.25x Qantas points per dollar spent on Qantas Marketplace so combined with the 3x points you’ll end up with 4.25x points when buying gift cards with it.
There are some credit cards that award even more points for Qantas spending but what’s nice about the Qantas Pay card is that it’s not a credit card so anyone can use it.
