If you purchased $2,500 in gift cards to pay for a new iPhone, for example, you would earn 50,000 Everyday Rewards points, convertible to $250 in Everyday Rewards Dollars or 25,000 Qantas points.

How it works
To earn the 20x points, all you need to do is scan your Everyday Rewards card when buying these Ultimate gift cards in-store at Woolworths between 14 Oct and 20 Oct 2026. The points usually credit instantly.
The included denominations are:
- Ultimate Baby & Mum: $100
- Ultimate Birthday: $50
- Ultimate Celebrate: $50
- Ultimate Everyone: $50, $100
- Ultimate Her: $50, $100
- Ultimate Him: $50, $100
- Ultimate Home: $50, $100
- Ultimate Kids: $30, $50
- Ultimate Students: $30, $50
- Ultimate Teens: $30, $50
- Ultimate Thank You: $100
Those are the only gift cards that will qualify for the 20x points. The $100 Ultimate Birthday gift card and all variable load denominations are excluded. Also, whilst the Ultimate Thank You gift card is included, the older Ultimate Thanks gift card is not.
There is a purchase limit of five gift cards per day. Officially, this is an overall limit but with Woolworths promotions it has long been the case that the system applies the limit to each individual gift card and denomination.
If that hasn’t changed, you may potentially be able to buy five $50 Ultimate Everyone, five $100 Ultimate Everyone, five $50 Ultimate Home, five $100 Ultimate Home etc gift cards all in one day.
However, if you’re going to attempt to exceed the five gift card limit this way, you should only proceed with each additional transaction if the checkout confirms you’ve received all the points (it says so after you press Pay Now) because if they don’t automatically credit, Everyday Rewards may not be willing to manually award them.
None of these gift cards have purchase or activation fees. This offer won’t be advertised in the Everyday Rewards app, only in the Woolworths catalogue and on in-store posters. No “boosting” is required and all members are eligible to earn the 20x points.

Has anyone used an EFTPOS gift card from Woollies or Coles to buy these gift cards?
It’s worked with past offers so it should still be possible.
any gift cards that can be used on Steam?
No. Steam gift cards have actually been discontinued but some stores may still have some of their physical cards in stock.
If your local EB Games still has Steam gift cards for sale you could potentially use one of the EB-compatible Ultimate gift cards to pay for them.
Obviously none of these can buy groceries? at Woolies?
They only work at the brands listed.
You can exchange some of these gift cards for Uber or DoorDash, and then purchase groceries on those platforms from Coles, Woolworths Metro, ADLI, IGA, etc, but you would end up paying inflated prices for those groceries…

I did the same as above yesterday and got the points, went back today to buy some more (same card as yesterday) and no bonus points given. So is it only 5 cards of each type for the week, and not 5 per day?
It’s definitely five per day, not five per week.
It’s quite rare but sometimes there are glitches with the points not crediting automatically at Woolworths even if you should have received them.

The variable load cards are excluded, unfortunately.
Have you tried asking Woolworths staff to check inside the gift card display for more stock? Not all stores have extra stock but some do.

Be careful. I brought 5 x Thankyou today and one was “thanks” not “thankyou”. I can’t seem to find anything out about this “thanks” card. It’s definitely an ultimate gift card. I can’t seem to find info about it.

Did you get the points for it? If not, contact Everyday Rewards and ask to have them manually credited because it’s clearly misleading to sell two such similar products.
If the issue is that the Thanks gift card doesn’t support one of the brands you were interested in, contact the gift card company and hopefully they’ll do the right thing.

The online limit is apparently three:
For in-store purchases gift card limits are quite rare but it might be worth checking with Freedom first just to be safe.
Is there a difference between ultimate gift cards with no one4all sign written up on it?? I didn’t receive any points on it when i purchased a couple of ultimate birthday gift cards. Thanks
They only started printing One4All on them from 2024 onwards so it’s quite common to still see the 2021 and 2023 versions but they’re still valid.
Did you purchase a $100 Ultimate Birthday gift card? If so, that particular denomination is excluded.
FYI Apple is flagging Apple Wallets for adding multiple giftcards & cards to iPhone Wallets.

Contacted both Apple and the Gift Card companies after getting an error adding gift cards to Apple wallet “invalid card, Check the information on your card and try again” = it wasn’t the gift card co error its an Apple Wallet security issue.

This is nothing new. If you try to add multiple Ultimate gift cards to Apple Pay in a short period you get blocked. If you wait a day or two you can usually add more.

Hi, thank you! I purchased 5 cards yesterday at around 9:20 pm and received the bonus points straight away. However, when I tried to purchase them again today at around 1:10 pm, I didn’t see any bonus points so I didn’t get them.
Do I need to wait 24 hours before I can earn bonus points again? I thought the bonus points would reset the next day. Do you know how it works? Thank you!
The limit is per calendar day, not per 24 hours. Sometimes there are just glitches with the points not automatically crediting. Usually it’s very rare for this to happen but a few people have reported similar issues recently so maybe they botched something with this promotion.

You’re still entitled to the points even if they don’t automatically credit (provided you’re buying the right ones and haven’t exceeded the limit, of course), it’s just that if they aren’t automatic you’ll likely have to wait fourteen business days before contacting Everyday Rewards to have them manually credited.
Does anyone have any tips on how to actually use multiple cards for a purchase? I’ve tried Officeworks and JB Hifi online and it will only let me enter 1 card, as it must be entered as a credit card payment. Thanks
Refer to the table near the bottom of the article. For JB Hi-Fi you have to exchange each Ultimate gift card for one of JB Hi-Fi’s own gift cards. This isn’t an option for Officeworks, unfortunately.
