How it works
Scan your Everyday Rewards card when you purchase any of these gift cards in-store at Woolworths between 29 Apr and 5 May 2026 and you will earn an instant 20x points per dollar spent.
These gift cards are available in the following denominations:
- Luxury Escapes: $100-500 variable load
- Country Road: $50, $100
- Peter Alexander: $50, $100
- Event Cinemas: $30, $50, $100
- Village Cinemas: $30, $50, $100
- RedBalloon: $100, $200
There is a purchase limit of five gift cards per day for all but the Event Cinemas gift cards which have a more generous limit of ten per day.
For those planning to buy Luxury Escapes gift cards, you should know that you can now only redeem a maximum of $1,500 in gift cards per Luxury Escapes booking.
The RedBalloon, Event Cinemas and Village Cinemas gift cards are best avoided as we frequently see better promotions on them (e.g. 15% cashback).
This offer won’t be shown in your Everyday Rewards app but that’s to be expected as they typically only advertise them in the Woolworths catalogue and in-store. You don’t need to “boost” this offer as all members are automatically eligible.

Any guidance on how to redeem the luxury escapes gift cards?
Hoping to understand If I can redeem multiple gift cards during the checkout process.
You redeem the gift card in your account, with the total of the gift card being added to your balance. You can then use this balance when making a booking – instead of debiting your credit card, you debit your gift card balance.
It isn’t necessarily that simple, in my Android Luxury Escapes app the option to add gift cards to the account was removed a couple of months ago. Other people have reported the same issue.
I confirmed that it’s not a system glitch when I had to use LE support a week ago to make a booking (a discount code wouldn’t work).
It was still possible to add multiple giftcards for payment during booking, I used 7.

I had tried purchasing the $200 red balloon gift cards from 2 different woolworths today but both times it didnt show the usual message saying it had hadn’t points, staff weren’t sure either so I didn’t proceed with purchase
That’s odd. Still, there’s no risk buying them anyway because they’re very clearly advertised as being included. At worst you’ll just have to wait a couple of weeks before they manually credit the points.
I tried all my local Woolworths stores and they all said that they did not stock the Luxury Escapes cards.
I wouldn’t trust what staff say in this case. With the exception of Woolworths Metro stores which carry a reduce range of gift cards, almost every single regular Woolworths supermarket in Australia should stock Luxury Escapes gift cards.
What most likely happened is that they simply sold out. These offers can be very popular and with stores only stocking a single stack of Luxury Escapes gift cards it can only take a couple of customers to completely clear them out.
