Earn 20x Everyday Rewards points per dollar spent on all denominations of TCN Her, TCN Deluxe, TCN Pamper, TCN Restaurant, Spotify and Netflix gift cards at Woolworths.
There’s a lot to love in this promotion. The TCN Her gift card can be used at JB Hi-Fi among many other retailers whilst the TCN Deluxe supports Baby Bunting.
Promotions on Netflix and Spotify gift cards are quite rare so if you pay for either of those services then this could be the time to top up. Just remember that Spotify gift cards can only be used to pay for full price subscriptions (not student, family etc plans).
TCN Restaurant gift cards should work at basically any restaurant or eating place. Officially, this excludes fast food restaurants but for whatever reason you can convert your physical card into a digital one which then works at fast food places.
Here are the details:
- Runs from Wed 7 May to Tue 13 May 2025
- Only available in-store at Woolworths
- For TCN Restaurant and $20-500 TCN Deluxe, a limit of two per day
- For all other cards, a limit of ten per day
- This offer is open to everyone and does not require activation
How it works
Purchase any of these gift cards at Woolworths between 7 May and 13 May 2025 and scan your Everyday Rewards card when paying. You’ll instantly earn 20x Everyday Rewards points per dollar spent.
This offer may not be shown in your Everyday Rewards app but that’s normal as they’re typically only advertised in the catalogue and possibly via some in-store posters. No activation is necessary as all members are automatically eligible to earn the 20x points.
There’s a limit of ten gift cards per day for most of these gift cards with the exception of the TCN Restaurant and the $20-500 variable load denomination of the TCN Deluxe card which have a lower limit of two per day.

That limit of 2 per day for Restaurant is unusual isn’t it? Are you sure that’s correct?
It’s correct and to be expected as Woolworths have been enforcing a two card limit on TCN Restaurant promotions for almost a year.
Ah, confusing them with the Pub and Bar Cards
Can the TCN card be used online? Or do I need to convert it to digital then use it e.g. Supercheap auto on check out
For an online purchase you’ll first need to swap it for one of Supercheap Auto’s own gift cards via the TCN Deluxe website. Note that you’re limited to a maximum of three gift cards per transaction on the Supercheap Auto website.
Is the deluxe gift card the same as the “pamper gift card”. It’s not pictured above
They’re two different gift cards. If you go to the Where these gift cards can be used section above you’ll see the differences.
It says chiropractor does that mean any or is there specific ones?
The TCN Pamper and TCN Restaurant are merchant category gift cards, meaning they’re basically prepaid Eftpos gift cards set to only accept transactions that are processed under one of their supported merchant category codes. For that reason, there isn’t a list of every business where they work.
I have heard of people successfully using the TCN Pamper gift card at chiropractors but it’s possible some of them may use a different merchant category code, particularly if they’re part of a larger business or if they perform other services. With these sorts of gift cards, it’s usually a good idea to buy one to test at a few places before committing to buying more.
If you’ve previously spent money there, you could try asking your bank what merchant category code was used for the transaction as some will give this info out on request.
Are these TCN Restaurant Gift Cards the best we’re going to get for everyday eating out and coffee at cafes — rather than just fine dining like some of the other food gift cards in these promos? Or should I just grab a small amount and hold out for a better food gift card?
Just as an FYI to everyone, since I started buying gift cards, I’ve noticed Woolies has either scrapped the weekly spend promotions or raised the targets to something ridiculous, like spending $550 in a week for 1,600 Everyday Rewards points. That’s pretty unrealistic when I struggle to spend even $100 a week as a single person.
Thanks Editor for all your hard work responding to these questions.
Most likely. Restaurant/Cafe Choice gift cards are arguably slightly better but the last time we saw an offer on them at Woolworths was all the way back in September of last year.
+1 to this.
I suspect Woolworths have included gift card points earn into their algorithm when allocating the (very few) weekly spend promos.
I’ve started shopping at Coles and barely spend $50/week at Woolworths, and my current offer is spend $290 for 2400 points. Guess they don’t want my grocery spend. Oh well.
The variable load I just scan then add the amount I want?
Correct. If you’re at a self-checkout you’ll be prompted to enter an amount between $20 and $500. If you go through a regular checkout they’ll just ask you how much you want to load.
Restaurant card variable load is incorrect it is only $50 cards.
As mentioned in the article, the TCN Restaurant gift card is only sold in $50 and $100 denominations. It’s just the TCN Deluxe that’s available in a variable load denomination in this offer.
Unrelated…maybe. Are there any gift cards that can be used via department of transport? To pay car registration? Thanks.
You would have to wait for an offer on prepaid Visa, Mastercard or Eftpos gift cards. They used to be much more common but this year there haven’t been any good ones at Woolworths.
Hi I bought two $100 TCN Restaurant yesterday and I am having difficulty adding them to my Apple wallet as I normally do using their Go digital feature on the TCN restaurant website. Anyone else having difficulty with this ,this time
Have you registered your gift card? You usually have to do that before you can convert or swap them.
Thanks registering didn’t help this time. Rang them and they helped me over the phone. they were aware of a website glitch. Tried a different browser on some other cards the next day and they were fine.
I had the same issue. Waited till the next morning and added to apple wallet no issues
Can any of these gift cards be used and added to pay off like an Afterpay or Zippay balance?
No.
You’re a legend. Thanks for replying.
Has anyone come up with ways to redeem small balances on the TCN gift card after you’ve used the majority of the value? Say you have multiple cards with a small amount like $1-3 remaining
Leftover gift card balances can be a hassle. I use mine at my local coffee shop—just remember to factor in credit card surcharges and throw in a small cash tip now and then. I keep 4–5 TCN Restaurant cards in my Apple Wallet and use the app to check balances. If a meal’s $25, it’s easy to split $15 from one card and the rest from another. It’s less awkward than starting with just $3. Or save the small amounts for a cookie at Subway or dessert at Macca’s. Always go for the $100 load card when it’s on offer—it makes life easier.
Can the Restaurant gift card be used to buy on Qantas Wine? Has anyone tried?
I believe purchases on Qantas Wine are processed under Qantas’ own merchant category code (3012). If not that MCC then it would likely be the one for bottle shops (5921). Neither of those are supported by the TCN Restaurant gift card.
If you do feel like earning some extra points on Qantas Wine, give them a call as their wine advisors are usually able to award extra points at their discretion (1,000 points per $100 spent is the usual rate).
Great tip! Thanks for replying 🙂
I bought 10 deluxe gift cards to redeem at oz designs. 5 cards worked, 5 declined. Same type of card same retailer. Called tcn, they are investigating. All declined cards were active and had a balance. Hope this is resolved, but this unacceptable. I bought 100s of tcn gift cards in the past never had this issue.
