How do I take advantage of this offer?
Scan your Everyday Rewards card when buying any of the eight Ultimate gift cards mentioned above between 10 and 16 April to earn 20x points per dollar spent. No activation or boosting is necessary as this offer is available to all Everyday Rewards members.
Once you’ve added the gift cards and your Everyday Rewards card at checkout, the screen should display the number of points you’ve earned just before payment. After you pay, the points should appear in your account more or less immediately.
Make sure you don’t buy any variable load cards (those are the ones where you choose how much value you want to put on the card) or the $50 Baby & Mum and $50 Thanks cards as those are all excluded from earning 20x points.
You can earn 20x points on a maximum of $500 worth of gift cards per day due to the daily cap and the exclusion of variable load cards. If you need to buy more than that, you’ll have to either use multiple Everyday Rewards accounts or purchase them over several days.

I bought $500 of the Ultimate Home cards to use at Kogan, but it is not available to use there.
Unfortunately, Ultimate Gift Cards don’t allow you to exchange your card for one of Kogan’s own gift cards. The only way you can pay is to enter the Ultimate card like any other credit or debit card but this means you can’t use multiple cards and you must have enough of a balance to cover the entire purchase.
As for why an online-only retailer like Kogan would join a gift card scheme under such circumstances I have no idea. It’s very misleading.
