A great feature of Uber gift cards is that you can use them to retroactively pay for your rides and orders from the last 30 days thanks to the switch payment hack.

How it works
Buy any of these gift cards in-store at Woolworths between 1 Jul and 7 Jul 2026 and scan your Everyday Rewards card at the checkout to earn an instant 20x points per dollar spent.
There is a purchase limit of ten gift cards per day for all of the gift cards in this offer with the exception of the TCN Restaurant gift card which has a lower limit of just two per day.
Unless something has changed at Woolworths, these limits should actually be per gift card type or denomination, meaning you may actually be able to buy ten TCN Her, ten TCN Party, ten TCN Pamper etc gift cards all in one day.
However, if you’re going to attempt this, only buy the additional gift cards if the checkout says you’ve earnt the correct number points because if they don’t automatically credit then you may have a hard time convincing Everyday Rewards to hand them over.
The included gift card denominations are:

You won’t find this offer in the Everyday Rewards app but that’s to be expected as they usually only advertise them in-store and in the Woolworths catalogue. All members are able to earn the 20x points and you don’t need to activate or “boost” anything.
Check the Merchant Database for a list of places where the TCN Restaurant and TCN Pamper gift cards have been found to work. If you’ve been able to use them somewhere that isn’t listed, let us know.
If you’re buying the TCN Her and TCN Party gift cards to spend at JB Hi-Fi, you can use unlimited gift cards both in-store and online but for online shops you will first have to swap each physical card for a JB Hi-Fi digital gift via the TCN website.
If you encounter an error when attempting to swap or convert a TCN gift card, register it and try again as that usually solves the problem.

Uber & Uber eats gift cards can be used to pay for rides and orders in Australia. You can even use them to pay for purchases you made up to 30 days ago if you switch the payment method.

I need to spend $3,000 in store at jbhifi. Can I buy and use 30 x $100 HER gift cards ?
Yes. You should scratch the PINs in advance and try not to shop at a particularly busy time but aside from that you shouldn’t have any issues. I have seen people use a lot more than 30 gift cards at JB Hi-Fi.
What does variable load mean? I.e on uber gift card? Any denomination under 500 accumulates 20x points?
Fixed value gift cards are the ones labelled $30, $50, $100 etc where that’s how much value is loaded onto each gift card. Variable load gift cards, on the other hand, are labelled $20-500, $50-500 etc because you can choose to load any amount within that range.
For Uber gift cards, you can either buy a fixed value $50 card or a $20-500 variable load card. If you buy the variable load version, you just enter an amount between $20 and $500 when you scan it at the checkout.
Confirming I should be l able to buy 2 x $500 Uber gift cards, and 8 x $100 pamper gift cards in one transaction on Wednesday, and get 18,000 Qantas points? Just confirming this doesn’t exceed any daily limits?

Is there any way of knowing what hotels are eligible for the pamper gift card?
People have reportedly used them at Accor and IHG hotels. I also managed to use one on Booking.com.
However, it’s very difficult to use them online since you can’t split payments and the largest TCN Pamper denomination in this offer is $100. If you can pay in-person and the hotel is happy to let you use multiple cards then that would be the best way to go about it.
Other things to keep in mind are the fact that some big hotel chains have their own specific merchant category codes that won’t be supported the TCN Pamper gift card and if you’re paying in a currency other than AUD you’ll need to use the digital version of the gift card where a conversion fee applies.

Yes, both the TCN Her and TCN Party gift cards support JB Hi-Fi. If you want to be extra safe you can check the TCN website to see if that’s still the case just before you buy the gift cards.
I need to buy something in JBhifi for $2000. Can i buy 10 x TCN Her and 10 x party gift card all in one transaction/ day?
The official answer is no but I believe you actually can as it’s long been the case at Woolworths that the purchase limits apply to each individual gift card type and denomination.
Unless they’ve suddenly decided to change that, you should be able to buy ten $100 TCN Her, ten $50 TCN Her, ten $40 TCN Party and four $25 TCN Party gift cards all in one day for a total of $2,000.
However, to be safe I’d recommend only proceeding with the additional transactions if the checkout says you’ve earned the points (after you press Pay Now but before you actually pay a message appears telling you how many Everyday Rewards Dollars or Qantas points you’ve earned).
Of course, it may just be easier to split your purchase over two days.
Can you go through self checkout to buy gift cards or through cashier ?
Either works but I always use self checkouts myself.

I am standing front of the HER gift cards right now and I want to buy 20x $100 for jb hifi spend. The jbhifi logo is not on the card and the staff insist it’s not included, they say it might be different at different stores, should I risk it or not
What’s shown on the physical packaging is irrelevant as participating retailers are constantly added (and sometimes removed). The TCN website is the authoritative source on where their gift cards can be used and as of right now the TCN Her gift card still lists JB Hi-Fi as a supported retailer.
If you want to be extra safe, buy a single card and swap it for a JB Hi-Fi digital gift card on the TCN website and then once you’ve done that you can go back and buy more.
As for buying twenty of them, remember that the limit is ten cards per day per Everyday Rewards account.
Can anyone confirm if it is still possible to convert TCN Her into JB HiFi cards through TCN web ?
Last comments I saw mentioning that was from end of 2024.
It’s still possible. If you go the website and select JB Hi-Fi you can see that there’s an option to exchange the physical card for a JB Hi-Fi digital gift card.
Can I use multiple JB Hifi gift cards (after being swapped out from TCN Her) for price matched items online ?
They normally send specific link for price matched items but never tried payment with multiple gift cards before.
Yes. I just did this on the weekend.
I bought a $500 Uber Gift Card and collected the 10,000 points. But then paid for a second $300 Uber Gift Card using Afterpay plus card and was not automatically granted any points. Issue currently with customer service. Anyone else have this issue? I can see the 300 purchase in my rewards app with 0 pts next to it, so I know I didn’t forget to scan my rewards card :’(
It’s rare but sometimes they do have glitches with these offers that don’t result in points being automatically credited. You could try calling or messaging Everyday Rewards tomorrow but they’ll likely tell you that you need to wait fourteen business days as per the terms and conditions. If they don’t credit by that point you can contact Everyday Rewards and they’ll award them on the spot.

I note u stated that TCN cards can be converted into online JB HiFi card online. If I have say 10 TCN cards will it convert into 1 or 10 JB cards? I’m just concerned because I read that JB restricts how many cards u can use for online purchases? Thanks
If you convert ten gift cards then you’ll end up with ten JB Hi-Fi gift cards, not one. This isn’t a problem because JB Hi-Fi do not limit how many gift cards you can use either in-store or online.
For $40 TCN gift cards, you can only convert into two gift cards ($30 and $10) as no $40 JB Hi-Fi gift cards option in TCN.
FWIW, 2 days ago I used 160 JB Hi-Fi gift cards converted from TCN HER and TCN PARTY valued in total $6000 to buy a new camera and lens in a single online transaction at JB Hi-Fi, so yes there is no limit of the numbers of gift cards you can use online.
Hey! Thank you for all of your excellent advice. I bought 10 x $50 Her, $10 x $30 Her yesterday (2 different stores/transactions) and was fully credited. Today I went to one store and bought 2 x $50 Her and 8 x $30 Party (credited). Then when to a second d store and bought 8 x $50 Her. I scanned my everyday rewards and scanned the first card to check the point would go through. Of course that triggers the attendant. She immediately bustled me over to a manned checkout.
I was discussing points with the girl there, scanned my card but was distracted by the fact I’d scanned twice and didn’t check – this time, no points 😭 I didn’t realise until I got out and checked the app.
Do you think it’s a delay (everything else was instant) or I’ve hit a limit? Thank you – your website is incredibly helpful

Does the transaction appear in your Everyday Rewards activity as 0 points or is it not shown at all? Were they definitely TCN (The Card Network) Her gift cards and not perhaps Ultimate/One4All Her gift cards?
Given that you were able to do a similar thing yesterday it does seem unlikely that they have suddenly changed how the purchase limits are enforced. It’s quite rare but sometimes the points just fail to automatically credit even when you’re well under the limit.
Hey, thank you for the response. The transaction has registered in the Everyday Rewards app as zero points, so it definitely scanned when I purchased the cards.
And yep, they were definitely the ‘HER’ cards from TCN.
I’ve asked for assistance on the app – still waiting to hear back. I’ll let you know here what they come back with. Hopefully just a delay and they can be credited. I’m never letting anyone lead me away from my focused self checkout zone again…
FYI – David my sister in law bought 4 x $50 vouchers ( Res cards) and still got the points for the 4. So it may work on $200 max per day for those cards rather than a limit of two day. The 5th $50 card she bought, did not get points. They only had the $50 cards left hence why she never bought the $100 card.
