Earn 20x Everyday Rewards points per dollar spent on all denominations of Uber & Uber Eats, TCN Good Food, Rebel, BCF, Supercheap Auto and Super Adventure gift cards at Woolworths.

A great feature of Uber & Uber Eats gift cards is that they can be used to pay for rides and orders you made up to 30 days ago thanks to the switch payment hack.

Here are the details:

  • Runs from Wed 24 Sep to Tue 30 Sep 2025
  • Only available in-store at Woolworths
  • Limit of ten fixed value gift cards per day
  • Limit of ten variable load gift cards per day
  • This offer is open to everyone and does not require activation

How it works

Scan your Everyday Rewards card when you purchase any of these gift cards in-store at Woolworths between 24 Sep and 30 Sep 2025 and you will earn 20x points per dollar spent, instantly credited to your account after you complete the transaction.

You likely won’t see this promotion advertised in your Everyday Rewards app but that’s normal as they generally only feature them in the catalogue and also sometimes on posters in-store. You don’t need to activate or “boost” anything to be eligible for the 20x points.

You can purchase up to ten fixed value and ten variable load gift cards per day per Everyday Rewards account. Whether you buy them individually or all in a single transaction makes no difference.

TCN Good Food gift cards can be used at businesses classified as ‘5812: Eating Places, Restaurants’ or ‘5813: Bars, Cocktail Lounges, Discotheques, Nightclubs, and Taverns: Drinking Places (Alcoholic Beverages)’. They do not support fast food restaurants.

Unofficially, TCN Good Food gift cards reportedly also work at ‘5811: Caterers’ and ‘7011: Lodging: Hotels, Motels, Resorts: not elsewhere classified.’ You can convert your physical TCN Good Food gift card into a digital one here (via the Go Digital button) so that you can add it your mobile wallet.

Denominations

These gift cards are available in the following denominations:

  • Uber & Uber Eats: $50, $20-500 variable load
  • TCN Good Food: $100, $200
  • Rebel: $30, $50, $100
  • BCF: $50, $100
  • Supercheap Auto: $50, $20-500 variable load

  1. Does the Good Food card definitely work at all restaurants like the TCN Restaurant card? Their web site implies that usage is limited – ‘You can use the Good Food Gift Cards at restaurants and venues displayed on this website. To see the full list click here. We are adding new restaurants and venues regularly, so please make sure you check for the most up to date list and there may be some instances works outside of the list shown on this website’.

    1. Their website suggests that it’s limited to specific partner restaurants but in fact it’s just a merchant category gift card. This article has more information about it.

I will say that it’s definitely not as easy to use as gift cards like the TCN Restaurant or Restaurant/Cafe Choice, largely because those ones support 5814: Fast Food Restaurants whereas the TCN Good Food gift card does not. Personally, I’d recommend just waiting for another offer on those more versatile restaurant gift cards.

    2. The good food card has very limited places in WA to use and I would not recommend if you live there. More widely accepted in NSW

  2. May I ask if the Good Food gift card works at most restaurants or only at the restaurants on its list?
If it works at most places, then is it the same as the TCN Restaurant Card?

    1. See my comment above but the gist of it is that it should work at more or less any restaurant but not anything classified as 5814: Fast Food Restaurants (this doesn’t just mean McDonald’s, KFC etc, it also includes cafes and whatnot). The digital version that you can swap your physical TCN Good Food card for seems to work more reliably but you do still see quite a few people complaining that it wasn’t accepted somewhere so I’d recommend just waiting for an offer on the more reliable TCN Restaurant or Restaurant/Cafe Choice gift cards.

  3. How do you work out whether something is good value? 10,000 Qantas Points for $133 on Qantas Wines?

    Reply

    1. You might want to read our article on the value of Qantas points. A good rule of thumb is to never pay over 1 cent per point.

      $133/10,000 = $0.0133

      0.0133*100 = 1.33 cents per point

If you’re only buying the wine for the points and get zero value out of the wine itself then you’re paying 1.3 cents for each one which isn’t something I’d particularly encourage unless you urgently needed them to book a really good (i.e. business/first) reward flight.

  4. Be aware that TCN Gift Cards, including Good Food cards, cannot currently be swapped for digital versions. I presume this is due to the recent reports about how easily their cards can be hacked. I am still waiting to convert my Pamper Gift Card from the last promo, and I am not happy.

  5. Inability of being able to swap Restaurant Card to digital form is a real loss – digital form much easier to use!

  6. I can confirm that it is now possible to convert TCN gift cards to digital gift cards. However, for those who have updated their iPhone to the latest iOS 26, the TCN app crashes immediately upon opening after converting a card. 🙄

    1. Issue has been reported by others online as well, so if you are using an iPhone on iOS 26, it may be best to hold off on converting TCN gift cards to digital for now.

      1. If you are experiencing the issue with the TCN app crashing on an iPhone running iOS 26, the solution is to delete the app and reinstall it or wait until an update is released. My converted digital cards all reappeared after deleting the app and reinstalling it from the App Store. You can also test this by installing the TCN app on a different phone to confirm the gift cards automatically load before deleting the app on your own phone. I was a bit nervous they would not but had no issues.

      2. UPDATE: On iPhones running iOS 26, the TCN app crashes whenever you add a new digital gift card. Deleting and reinstalling the TCN app fixes the issue temporarily, but it will crash again as soon as you add another digital gift card. I contacted TCN support 4 days ago and still have not received a response.

  7. My question is let’s say I get $50 gift card snd theh bill is 55. Ill it go through then I pay the remainder or do I need to split the transaction

    Reply

    1. If you’re asking about the TCN Good Food gift card then yes you will have to ask to split the payment across two cards. Some restaurants may not like doing this but in my experience most don’t mind.

  8. Apologies if this has been asked a million times. Can I purchase these cards with a Woolies gift card?
