The TCN Restaurant gift card is highly useful as it’s been known to work at almost any restaurant, cafe, fast food chain or bakery.
Here are the details:
- Runs from Wed 30 Sep to Tue 6 Oct 2026
- Only available in-store at Woolworths
- Excludes $20-500 TCN Teen and $75 Event Cinemas gift cards
- For $100 TCN Gift and $50 and $100 TCN Restaurant, limit of two per day
- For Village Cinemas gift cards, limit of five per day
- For all other gift cards, limit of ten per day
- This offer is open to everyone and does not require activation
How it works
Scan your Everyday Rewards card when you buy any of these gift cards in-store at Woolworths between 30 Sep and 6 Oct 2026 and you should receive an instant 20x points per dollar spent.
Refer to the table below for the purchase limits for each included denomination:

Note that the $20-500 variable load TCN Teen and $75 Event Cinemas gift cards are excluded from this promotion. Only the denominations listed in the table above will earn 20x points.
If you’re planning a large JB Hi-Fi purchase, you may be able to buy as much as $1,800 in gift cards each day if you bought two $100 TCN Gift and ten each of the $30 and $50 TCN Gift and TCN Teen gift cards.
This is suggested as a possibility because it has long been the case with Woolworths promotions that the system applies the purchase limits to each individual gift card denomination rather than as an overall limit.
However, if you’re going to try it you should only proceed with the additional transactions if the checkout says that you’ve earned the points because if they don’t automatically credit you may have a hard time convincing Everyday Rewards to hand them over.
At JB Hi-Fi there is no limit on the number of gift cards you can redeem either in-store or online. For The Good Guys, however, you can only use unlimited gift cards in-store as their website has a maximum of three per transaction.
This promotion won’t be advertised in the Everyday Rewards app, only in-store at Woolworths and in the weekly specials catalogue. No activation or “boosting” is required.

This could be a good time to stock up on TCN Restaurant gift cards as we don’t usually see any 20x points offers on them from October until March.
If you get an error when trying to swap or convert your TCN gift card, registering usually solves the issue.

Okay now they are just blatantly restricting cards that can convert to JB gift cards.
First, no variable load cards, and now a limit of 2 x $100 TCN Gift under this promo. They are definitely shrinkflationing the benefit of these.
It could just be stinginess but I suspect it may actually have something to do with the fact that the large value denominations were always the number one target for scammers.
Believe it or not but they’ve actually been doing that since June 2024.
