Apple gift cards can be used to pay for devices (e.g. iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch etc), subscriptions (e.g. iCloud), apps, music and more.
If you bought $1,400 in gift cards to pay for a new iPhone, for example, you would earn 28,000 Everyday Rewards points, worth $140 or convertible to 14,000 Qantas points.

How it works
Scan your Everyday Rewards card when you purchase Apple gift cards in-store at Big W between 9 Jul and 15 Jul 2026 and you’ll receive 20x Everyday Rewards points per dollar spent. The points are usually instantly credited after you pay.
You can purchase a maximum of ten Apple gift cards per Everyday Rewards account. That’s ten in total, not ten per day.
Since the offer includes the $20-500 variable load denomination, you could purchase as much as $5,000 in Apple gift cards using just the one Everyday Rewards account.
You don’t need to activate or ‘boost’ this offer. It won’t be shown in your Everyday Rewards app but that’s because it’s from the Big W catalogue.
You can pay for Apple devices online using your account balance (loaded with up to $4,999 in gift cards) plus another eight unredeemed gift cards. Some Apple stores are refusing to accept Apple gift cards so you may need to order online instead.

Do you think we will get an Apple gift card deal on the Qantas mall before the August/September freeze? I need to buy a MacBook before 17 August and I’ve been holding out for the Qantas Mall because of the extra point and less risk of tampering.
Last year we saw one in June and then another in late August. This year they ran one in May rather than June so it’s possible the next one might be earlier too.
I’m curious – how much extra points is the mall?
By ‘mall’ they mean Qantas Marketplace where you can sometimes earn 10x Qantas points on Apple digital gift cards.
Whilst these Big W and Woolworths promotions also get you 10x Qantas points per dollar spent (20x Everyday Rewards = 10x Qantas), you can earn extra points on Qantas Marketplace by paying with a Qantas Pay prepaid card or selected credit cards.
